We stayed at Home for a couple of nights to give our trip to Buenos Aires a little touch of luxury. We'd heard great things, and the hotel definitely lived up to the hype. Great little pool area and garden for relaxing (didnt get to...More
Everything perfect but the noise from the bar and the other rooms...can hear everything happens next door! Does not worth all the money. Except for that, excellent breakfast. Remember to close the door of the bathroom to avoid next door noises during the night!!!

We stayed at Home Hotel in April 2013 as part of an around the world trip. We booked Home Hotel because of its excellent reputation, nice design aesthetics and location. It did not fail to deliver and was a pleasant surprise in some instances.
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

I let them know in advance I was arriving at 8am. We waited in the cafe area with a nice coffee for about 30 minutes and then our room was ready. Because we were arriving so early, they encouraged us to book the previous night, too, to guarantee that the room would not be occupied in the morning, but I decided not to to save money. So we lucked out that it was available.
Hey Mindy, I never stayed at Mine Hotel. If it's in Palermo Hollywood though, the entire area is great. I would recommend Home Hotel to anyone asking, but maybe your best bet is to go with the one better priced.
