We spent a comfortable weekend at the Home Hotel in Buenos Aires. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Although the hotel is not new, its design is still impressive and warm. It did give me the feeling of staying at a small apartment building....More
We loved the decor and style of the hotel - it felt like we were on the set of Mad Men! Staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool/garden area was a lovely place to relax and the mojitos were really tasty. Only negative was...More
There are so many good things about this hotel. It is in a real neighborhood - shaded residential streets and good shops and restaurants, with students, older couples, and young families strolling. The young hotel staff is immediately welcoming and endlessly helpful. Their suggestions for...More
We stayed here for five nights from February 11 - February 16, 2013. From the time we arrived, exhausted after 11 hour flight and two hours at airport sorting out reciprocity tax (yes you have to pay $160/pp just to visit), everyone at the staff...More

Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

I let them know in advance I was arriving at 8am. We waited in the cafe area with a nice coffee for about 30 minutes and then our room was ready. Because we were arriving so early, they encouraged us to book the previous night, too, to guarantee that the room would not be occupied in the morning, but I decided not to to save money. So we lucked out that it was available.
Hey Mindy, I never stayed at Mine Hotel. If it's in Palermo Hollywood though, the entire area is great. I would recommend Home Hotel to anyone asking, but maybe your best bet is to go with the one better priced.
