I went to Buenos Aires on a business trip and a friend of mine met me there to spend the weekend. I found the Art Suites based on location and good reviews. I'm happy to add to the positive feedback! This can hardly be called a hotel. Our "room" was an apartment with two bedrooms (One queen and two singles)... More

Having spent a week in Buenos Aires a few years before, we chose this aparthotel because we knew and liked the Recoleta area of the city. We typically look for a hotel offering more room than a standard hotel room, especially if we are planning to stay for more than a night or two. This time we were traveling with... More

I found the apartments were roomy and made our holiday comfortable and relaxing. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Good location for setting out by foot, otherwise we would use the local taxis - but ONLY the radio taxis. Close to shopping, eateries and plenty of wonderful streets to go exploring.

We spent two nights at the Art Suites prior to a cruise and would have no trouble recommending it. The apartment was roomy and spotless and it offered a great central location for exploring BA. The staff was very friendly and the price is a great value. With the exception of three minor inconveniences, the property would have received 5... More

Our son was starting his study abroad in Buenos Aires so we went with him for some travel beforehand. Art Suites was great because we had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a roomy living room where we could relax and watch the Olympics on the flatscreen in between lively city outings. Breakfast arrived promptly at the prearranged time, which... More

We were travelling with a 3 year old and a baby so we really wanted somewhere where we could have lots of space. For the same price as a hotel room, we had a large flat in a beautiful central part of town, with two bedrooms, sitting room, 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen. It was wonderful and we really... More

We found this apartment hotel on Trip Advisor and the statements about it proved accurate. The place is small and a bit in need of refurbishing. The apartments are tiny but adequate if a bit worn. The bed was terrific and the water was hot. The jacuzzi did not work in either rooms we occupied (one on the way "into"... More

We stayed in an Art Suites apartment twice in Dec 2009 on our way through BA and then again when we were there for several nights to see the city. We are a family of two adults and two kids ages 8 and 10. We found Art Suites to be accurately represented in the TripAdvisor reviews. It's a basic apartment,... More

I booked into Art Suites for 4 nights in early January 2010 with my girlfriend. We had booked this based heavily on tripadvisor recommendations. After spending over three weeks riding our motorcycles through Chile and Argentina we thought spending time in a two bedroom "premium" apartment would be a great way to finish off our trip. Through our month in... More

We arrived at Art Suites on the 28th Dec for 9 evenings. after travelling for 2 weeks and moving every two days, it was a welcome surprise that 7a was so spacious, clean and modern and yes we had a functional kitchen to cook for ourselves. Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
