My husband and I spent 7 nights at the Palermo Viejo Bed & Breakfast. The owner, Ariel is warm and hospitable, he went out of his way to give us recommendations for restaurants and things to do while in BA. The rooms are simple and charming. As soon as you walk into the B&B the wonderful flower fragrance is welcoming....

Palermo Viejo B&B was a great last minute find. We can certainly see why many guests make return visits to this peaceful retreat in Palermo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Overall, the biggest draw of this B&B is the top-notch service. Even prior to our arrival, we experienced the special brand of Palermo Viejo B&B service. The owner, Ariel responded...

Thanks for the review that helps us improve, as always! One thing about the hairdryers for all of you that might need one: We do have hairdryers at the B&B that we lend them to our guests. They are not in the rooms, but anyone that need one could keep it. A pitty that you didn't ask for one! Next...

I recently spent six nights at the Palermo Viejo B&B. The nights were broken up by a trip down to Patagonia, so coming back for the last part of my stay felt like coming home. The B&B is warm, comfortable, clean and well-located. Walking to the subway gave me an opportunity to explore the Palermo neighborhood and really get a...

I usually don't write reviews unless, unfortunately, it is so I can vent about bad service, but Ariel and his excellent crew at the Palermo B&B were so excellent, I couldn't help but pass on expressing yet another positive review about this wonderful place to stay. One of the first thing I noticed about the B&B was during my initial...

Thanks guys for such a nice review and for making us improve our service. This means, from now we have small alarm clocks to give to our guests in case they need one. I felt bad for not having one, so here we are! Thanks TripAdvisor for letting me know through your website how to improve our service!

Great place to stay in the lovely district of Palermo Viejo. Small, intimate, friendly, clean and comfortable. Rooms are very spacious if two are travelling together and the loft space is a neat idea. Fresh fruit for breakfast was so welcome after travelling on bread and cakes! Ariel and his staff were very friendly and informative - you can ask...

We stayed in central Buenos Aires for a couple of days at the beginning of our trip, but decided to stay here in Palermo for 4 nights at the end of our 6 week trip. We stayed in the master bedroom with private bath and shared accomodation for 2 nights with family and then had 2 nights on our own....

For the second year in a row we found ourselves back in Palermo Viejo for our annual vacation. The only place to stay ,as far as we were concerned was Palermo Viejo Bed and Breakfast on Niceta Vega Street. The amiable and knowledgeable host, Ariel has updated his tiny boutique B and B to 6 rooms from 3. The newest...

Ariel and his team run a fantastic B & B in the heart of BA´s funky Palermo Viejo. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed, breakfast is a serene affair giving you the chance to meet other guests, pick Ariel´s brain about what to do in the city, or simply enjoy the fresh fruit, media lunes and ever flowing coffee...

We stayed here one night on the way back to US. I now wish we had booked more nights here. The rooms were much nicer than they appear on the website, were spotless, and had nice toiletries provided, which is not always the case with a bed and breakfast. The staff gave great restaurant recommendations and was helpful with directions....

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Stylish B&B in the heart of Palermo Viejo/Soho. The house is located in a 1901 building, traditional of those days in Buenos Aires neighborhoods. The Casa Chorizo has been renewed keeping its original style. High ceilings, brick and thick walls are one of the details to mention. As a narrow landmark the rooms are organized in a row, facing the side patio/garden full of green where hanging out after a long day is a must. All the rooms have private en-suite bathroom and two of them are big enough with a double level to accommodate more than two people, perfect for 3 or 4. The art work of different artists is found everywhere in the property which gives it a Bohemian atmosphere. The decor is simple, where each item was found in flea markets and auctions to make the B&B a warm and a perfect place to feel at home away of home. ... more   less
