Our one night stay at the beginning of our trip was an unusual room, sink in bedroom and in the wet room the toilet was beyond the shower area, so a bit too wet for access after use. Quite tight for space, but comfortable bed and quiet night. Wifi good in upstairs room. Narrow outdoor tiled corridors and quite a...

Great hotel with super friendly staff and a top atmosphere. Jordy recommended a restaurant and it was perfect. Totally recommend the Costa Rica! Location is OK to bus / trains and the neighbourhood is safe as well. Cheers Costa Rica!

The staff were super helpful! The room was tidy and the shower was amazing! It was really close to all the bars and restaurants in Palermo without being 'too' close! They do a decent coffee in the morning as well!

What a great little hotel, super stylish, yet not pretentious. Friendly staff. Clean, modern room (I was in room 20), comfortable bed, quiet. The hotel is a former grand personal residence, so it's set up like a home, not a cookie cutter hotel box. It's an excellent value, too. The neighborhood is nice and safe, with several restaurants and cafes...

Good locaton, but a bit pricy when you see the room. Not so nice - looks much more inviting on the photos on the net. Many stairs, so if you have a heavy luggage be aware. Nice staff, not very clean in my room. And a mouldy smell. Also, not so easy to arrange air port pick up - many...

Our first room was dingy and dark with no natural light. It opened onto a corridor and screens had to be kept closed for privacy. Our next room had French windows onto the streets and a small balcony but the traffic noise was deafening. General problem with soundproofing so noise inside also carried. Both rooms had 'industrial' style bathrooms, concrete...

In Feb/March 2016 I booked rooms for 36 people for 10 days. We are all crafts people. I began making my arrangements 6 months in advance. Manager Silvana helped me through the process which was new to me. The staff all spoke some English which helped very much. The staff was always polite, helpful, presentable, and courteous. The owners personally...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
