Maria Teresa and her staff are everything you could wish for when traveling. The Tango House is quaintly authentic and in a lovely neighborhood. We enjoyed every minute we spent in it, especially our lessons on the beautiful hardwood floors in the airy front room. City tours, airport transportation, lessons, coffees, dinner, milongas, and even shoe shopping were arranged for...

I have recently returned from my FOURTH stay in La Casa de Maria Tango. Since 2011, this magical place has been my home in Buenos Aires. I love the safe and picturesque Balvanera neighborhood, conveniently located for everything I want to do: dance tango, sight-see, relax. It's easy to catch a taxi nearly instantly around the corner. I love being...

In October 2016 I visited La Casa de Maria Tango. It started when María and I mailed to fix the terms. When I arrived, Susana was waiting for me and I got to the house safely. There I got a warm welcome from Aleksandra and Federico and in the evening from María. Everything went fine, my room had everything I...

I have been there six times. Maria Teresa is an excellent hostess. The staff have been remarkably helpful and the location is within walking distance of the legendary Buenos Aires milongas. Perfect for the visiting tango aficionado

Marias Tango House lies in Balvanera, a quiet, safe and neat neighborhood, relatively close to a multitude of buses and the subway. The house is very charming, with large, high-lofted rooms. My wife and I lived in the apartment with entrance from the flowery patio, and we loved it! The apartment has bathroom with a bathing tub, kitchen, living/sleeping room...

We, a couple and myself have just spent a wonderful week in La Casa de Maria Tango. The Casa is clean, charming, well located. The hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring that their guests have a very good stay and leave with a good awareness of Buenos Aires - its culture, it's art, its music, dance - Tango!...

I had a wonderful stay with Maria, Aleksandra and Federico. They introduced me to tango concerts, teachers, milongas and helped me to buy tango shoes. We shared dinners and coffee on numerous occasions. Aleksandra accompanied me on an excursion to Uruguay. Everyone was so hospitable, and did everything possible to make my stay fabulous. I can't wait to return.

This very friendly house is a great place to stay especially if you are wanting to dance tango in the home of Tango. There are usually other Tango dancers in the house or Maria or her staff will take you to the milongas which are close by. The rooms are clean and well equipped without being overly luxurious. The house...
