the hotel was very expensive, cute with allot of potential. it seemed old and run down, hallway carpet smelled old of mildew and had stains. my husband and i stood in a suite for new years eve. we spent 6 days. hotel staff was pleasant. the hotel overall reminds of old world charm with antique elegance potential, however its very... I visit BA every year to see family and it's been years since I've been to Mar del Plata so I decided to visit this year. This hotel was recommended as 5 stars and falls short, especially for the price. They're cheap about everything. They won't give you a towel for their private beach unless you rent a cabana or... Stayed for business. It is a very quiet time and all services were at skeleton levels so that the levels of attention to detail was well below expectations. The room was adequate but the shower sprayed the room when turned on.Limited number of soaps, etc. Carpets were in need of cleaning. Breakfast was well below the standard for such a... More

Is difficult to rate this hotel, because it has two distinct sectors: one older and one modern. The fact is that both sectors are quite different, luckily we stayed in the newest sector in which the rooms are spacious, modern, very clean with new carpets, like their bathrooms. Unfortunately both sectors cost the same, which should leave everything to luck... More

The building, lobby, and beach resort are really great. The breakfast saloon is especially amazing, with gorgeous chandeliers and frescoes on the walls that make you feel like you're eating at Versailles. Unfortunately dinner and lunch are served on a much less impressive room with a clear roof. The architecture and decoration of the common areas of the hotel are... More

The Hotel is located in an awesome spot in Mar del Plata, the room we had was rather large for the average in Argetnina (we had a king size bed, a big sofa, a dressoir and a small side table with two chairs). The view was... breathtaking! The architecture of the building is astonishing, and they managed to somehow "merge"... More

Rooms are of good size and clean. Service is friendly, with the exception of beach service (only one person who was waiter and cooker at the same time to serve more tha 80 clients). Breakfast is correct (orange juice wasnt natural). The rest was acceptable

This hotel with nearby Provincial were the retreat of wealthy Argentines. Huge ballrooms with French crystal chandeliers are everywhere. Guests are middle aged upper class argentines who've been coming here for years. The hotel faces a popular beach so it is worth to hire a cabana to enjoy the space. Best beaches are further south where the sea is cleaner... More

Large rooms, excellent service. Dining room/restaurant is very good; bar is intimate. Room service is 24/7. Back entrance to hotel faces the Atlantic. Meeting rooms are large and well-equipped.

I can't believe that it is a 5-star! Whoever gave them 5-stars should be demoted! My 'oceanfront' room had a OK view of the ocean, but had horrible carpet, stains in the bath room, very old furniture, and the TV/phone and wireless didn't work. The desk didn't even have electrical plugs next to the desk to plug in a laptop.... More
