Chamonix is a small town in the French Alps . I spent a weekend there with my 2 daughters and niece . Had beginner sking lessons , rode the snow mobiles . Husky dog sledging , and swimming in a heated pool while snow falling . Stayed at The Refuge at chamonix SUD ! Was an awesome family holiday . Tried all sorts of food . Cheese n tomato Fondu was the best . Enjoyed snowfall starting from flurries to proper snow falling !
Our stay here was relaxing, with cozy facilities, nice background music, attentive staff. Breakfast was excellent for the price, and we had a tasty lunch. Room was clean, great hot water and confortable. Pillows need upgrading. Common areas hace nice views of the Sierras and invite to read, contémplate or relax. Worth the time and money
We have been reaching out to Chamonix for the past 2 weeks attempting to try to book a family vacation for November. After multiple emails with no response, we have given up and are going to have to look for alternative accommodations in Villa General Belgrano. Very disappointing.
We've been there many times and always want to go back even if we live in the same province. Customer service is excellent, warm staff and owners always there to make your stay wonderful. Excellent amenities, The food in the restaurant and breakfast are amazing. Good to go and have a meal even if you're not staying in the hotel. We totally recommend this place!!
This small boutique hotel is located in the outskirts of Villa General Belgrano in an open area with great views of the nearby small mountain range, yet it is an easy and pleasant 15-minute walk to downtown so it is actually better than being in the town center. It has a Swiss-chalet design and feel with only about 15 rooms and personalized service to match. The outdoor pool is large and looks great though I didn't use it because I don't swim much. Also has an indoor pool and spa. Breakfast was great with very good choices of high-quality breads, pastries , fruits and cereals, including scrambled eggs, which is unusual in Argentina outside of Buenos Aires. Had dinner twice at the restaurant with very high-quality ingredients that were very well prepared. It was actually much better than our other meal in the town itself. Highly-recommended place to stay when visiting the "interior" of Argentina.…
