They have very misleadingly given themselves 4stars in their hotel logo, but we were only in Mendoza for one night, which is why we took a chance on them even though Expedia rated them as only 1 star. We got a very large room with 2 double bedrooms, however the room felt damp and very aged and smelt like dog!!... More

Plaza Italia was booked so we stayed at the Hotel Internacional. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the location was excellent, but these are about the only positive things I can say. The rooms were rather small and the carpet was a bit worn. There was air conditioning but the front desk controls the thermostat ,so we found... More

We planned a 3 night stay at Hotel Internacional on the suggestion of another person. The location is great. Tons of restaurants at the door steps, 1/2 block from Park Hyatt & Casino, 1 block from Plaza Indepencia. It all goes downhill from there.... 4 Star its not! Try 2.5 Stars. The room: tiny, sparse, standing shower only. Within the... More

I was originally planning to stay for up to 6 nights but I left after 2, it would have been sooner if I could. Im not a pedantic person, but if you book a hotel room in a well known tourist destination such as Mendoza, you expect a certain standard. It is an old Hotel, which some people may find... More

Got a cheap deal via my travel agents to stay overnight at this hotel. It was conveniently situated and great for exploring the city. A lot of the downtown attractions were in walking distance. The hotel wasn't anything special but did nicely as a base. The staff were helpful and friendly and even organised transportation to visit one of the... More

Pros: The beds, the location, the friendly staff, a weak wireless internet signal in our room (we stayed in 107 on the first floor, but I was very grateful to have internet access...) Cons: Overall, the price. (remote control for tv didn't work, tv barely worked, I don't think we had a thermostat, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, doors... More

The advantage of this hotel is its location, across from Azafran where many gather for good wine and food and just two blocks from the Plaza Independencia. Mendoza is a wonderful city to stroll and one can find many cafes and wine bars to relax and people watch. Nothing gets started until 10pm. The International is a decent, economy hotel... More

If you don´t like tourist traps don´t stay at this hotel. Despite of its good location, our stay there was a nightmare. We don´t care for luxury large rooms but only for comfort and tranquility. We were two couples, with advanced paid reserves (travel agency). In the first day, my friends’ room seemed to be OK, but our little room... More

We paid $65 through Expedia to stay at the Internacional and it was very poor value. The room was extremely small, dark and depressing. We have since stayed in 3 other places in Mendoza, never paying more than $50 and they have all been far better.
