A quiet spot in a neighborhood of Mendoza, complete with wee kitchen, swimming pool, tropical gardens, great hosts. Walkable to everything. Visited the major park, had breakfast at the rowing club, took tour of the wine/olive oil companies, long day trip to the mountains, many walks around nearby neighborhoods and parks. Mendoza was warm in January, but the pool cooled...

Mendoza is a heavenly place after a week in gritty Buenos Aires. ellen and ricardo are wonderful hosts. Ellen hosted a terrific day of wine tours with ourselves and one other couple, who became fast friends (wine and sunshine certainly brings out the best in people). The posada de rosas is no longer a B&B, but rather Garden Apartments with...

The owners, Ricardo and Ellen, were wonderful. We had dinner with them a couple of evenings (they once even let us take over their kitchen and cook a meal for them!), while ey also knew when to give us our space and privacy. Very helpful with any requests we had. The room was lovely, though we experienced trouble connecting to...

We stayed at Posada de Rosa for five nights over the Christmas period. They are not running it as a B&B anymore and have three self contained apartments they rent out, which we did not stay in so our experience is a little different. We stayed in the main house which I would not recommend but these rooms are not...

We stayed at the Posada de Rosas for a week over the Christmas break and we absolutely loved it. The guesthouse is in a great neighbourhood and is run by Ellen and Riccardo, two friendly hosts who cannot do enough to ensure you have a great time in Mendoza. Ellen has some amazing day trip and restaurant and tips -...

This was our second stay at Posada de Rosas. We were here last December for 3-4 days and this December for a week. As before Ellen was very helpful and this time met Ricardo who was also very helpful and kept the garden beautifully manicured. One difference between last year and this year in Argentina was an increase in inflation....

I booked our accommodation at Posada Rosas back in April based on the fabulous reviews on Trip Advisor. In between April and October the owners decided to change their model from a B&B to a holiday rental but didn’t change the price or any of the material on their website. Whilst they were friendly we really did not have a...

First of all, I would like to say if you are going to Argentina , make sure you allow for at least a week in Mendoza. It is a beautiful little city with so much to see and do, especially winery tours, great restaurants and Andes trips. When we arrived at Posada de Rosas we were pleasantly surprised - there...

My wife and I had 6 wonderful days in Mendoza, made more special by our delightful room at the posada, and by our gracious hosts Ellen and Ricardo. They were most helpful with recommendations for restaurants, winery tours, transportation and the like. Ellen arranged a one day private tour of several wineries, with the four of us travelling from site to...

We spent 4 nights at Posada de Rosas at the beginning of March and had such a great stay we felt we had to post a review on Tripadvisor to let other people know what a lovely place it was!
