We went to this hostel because the owners son stood at the bus station speaking good English and "recruited" people to the hostel and it was pretty cheap, close to the bus station and we got a free transfer there from the owner. We had a double room with shared bathroom and we liked to stay there at first because...

I stayed here one night and quite enjoyed it, a lady at the bus station gave me a brochure and it was late at night so seemed like the best option. The owner is a bit of a character and holds good conversation. The breakfast was great and the lady set it all up on the table for me which...

This was the worst place we stayed at in the whole 7 weeks of traveling around South America. The main issue was that the place was embedded with cigarette smoke which had even infused into the bedding. The room was small with no window only a door which opened into the outdoor court yard. Unfortunately this was a hub of...

We were given a flyer at the bus terminal & offered the 3 bed dorm for 85 pesos each a night for just the two of us & a free lift to the hostel so we went for it. We were happy with the room, it was clean enough & the beds quite comfortable. The sheets did look really old...

My daughter is traveling in Argentina and got there. The second day of the stay the owner decided to charge her for the whole room instead of a single bed, as the rest of the guests lefts the hostel. When she didn't accept to be charged such a high price he just threw her away, shutting the dorr after her,...

Firsty, don't be tricked by the flashy outside of the house and BMW. The inside is a grubby infestation. Firstly, the kitchen is disgusting, cheap, unsanitary. The stove is a 'temporary' hot plate (in which only one works (if you even call it working)) but has rust and scum all over it. The Microwave is the most disgusting thing i've...

The son of the owner talked to us on the bus station and promised that they have wonderful rooms with tv and direkt close to plaza independencia. We got to the hostel and took the room because it was already late in the evening. The owner promised that it's a quiet family hostel... NOT TRUE! The beds were terrible...there were...

This hostel has good prices, but everything else is horrible. I felt like I was harassed daily by the people who work there (the owner, his girlfriend, and his sons). They constantly barged into the dorm rooms and used the private guest's bathrooms there; I felt like I had no privacy. They smoked in the house, yelled at me and...

I don't have many comments on the hostel because I didn't actually stay there. It was overbooked and he told us we had a problem over the loud sound of his son and his girlfriend watching very loud tv. He had beds in the dorm for us for three times the price we would pay for a private room. He...

Ariel who owns the hostel is very friendly and offers really good advice on tours and day trips. The hostel is not the best of locations but is only about a 5 or 10 minute walk from the city centre and is cheaper than other hostels in Mendoza. There is a free, very basic breakfast. Hostel is cosy although the...
