The view from the lobby as you walk in knocks your socks off - a fantastic view of the falls and also from your room if you choose a falls view. All the trails through the park and to the viewpoints start from here so there really is nowhere else to stay. Only downside is that you have to eat...

It's simple -- this hotel has an incredible location and makes any visit to the falls infinitely more enjoyable for that reason alone. It doesn't matter than there were cobwebs on the balcony furniture; it doesn't matter that the air conditioning wasn't working because they don't have enough generator power, despite their charging $400/night (the local power company is not...

This hotel could use an upgrade but for the proximity to the park, it's a good place to stay. We enjoyed two nights at the Sheraton during our honeymoon. It was clean and accessible. We enjoyed spending the afternoon at the pool after visiting the park. The hotel is a taxi ride from town so we decided to stay at...

If you want to enjoy a short stay in the Iguazu Falls, then the Sheraton is the place to stay. You can rise early and be in the park while it is still quiet and have the Falls almost to yourself. But the hotel is tired and, if it was anywhere else, would seem very expensive. You really have to...

I'll echo what so many others have shared - stay at this hotel, because it's the only one in the park. Stay at this hotel because of the views of the falls from the patio and some of the rooms. Stay at this hotel because you'll be the first ones on the trails each day, and will get access to...

After spending 2 nights at the superb Hotel das Cataratas on the Brazilian side, this hotel is very deceiving. The room , the swimming pool and the lobby looked so outdated and basic. However, the location is everything. We had a room facing the falls and could hear them at night, which is quite special We found the staff to...

One stays here because you are minutes from the most amazing waterfalls ever. You don't stay here because the hotel is anything special. In fact the food is terrible, the rooms mediocre, and the service indifferent at best. And having to pay for wireless.... are you kidding?

The proximity to the falls, and the killer view, are the best attributes. Be aware that even though the hotel is the only one inside the national park, this doesn't mean you can go into the park before opening hours or after closing. This can make you feel a little like a prisoner on a summer day when there might...

Stayed here 2 nights in December. The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the falls as it is located right in the park. We had a Falls View room however if I had it to do over again I would get a regular room as the falls are still a ways away. Excellent breakfast buffet.
