Some people say that location is EVERYTHING and in this case it is! Getting past the usual descriptions of it being a design and concrete monstrosity, you could forgive it because of the view! We had a "falls view balcony room which persuades us to forgive the hotel for all its other faults..the view was spectacular and you could easily...

We stayed here 2 nights Feb 3 & 4th. It was recomended by our guide. The location was great. It is the only hotel in the park on the Argentine side. We had upgraded for a view of the falls and it exceeded our expectations. The room was great. The shower was a tub with a small glass wall not...

We were there for 2 nights with a falls view room, from the hotel you can get directly to all the trails, saves a lot of time etc. Some debate if worth the extra money for a falls view vs jungle view - the way I see it you are there for 1 or 2 nights and with the cost...

We stayed at this hotel for the convenience of the park and to get ahead of the tourist herds in the morning. Also its cheaper than the Brazilian side. We got upgraded to a room with a view of the falls so happy with the room. It was my birthday and my boyfriend arranged for champagne and chocolates to be...

You can't beat the convenience of the Sheraton at Iguazu Falls. Being able to eat breakfast and get out to explore the catwalks and experience the falls before the tour buses arrive is well worth it. The hotel itself is very nice, has a great pool area and the restaurant was great. And splurge for the Falls View room, it's...

We stayed here in November 2012 as we travelled through northern Argentina and Chile. I'd read a lot of reviews that suggested that whilst the location was great the hotel was soulless. As we would normally stay in small and preferable locally run hotels we booked here with some misgivings but could see that the location was perfect. However we...

We decided at the last moment to add Iguazu to our Antarctica trip. I'm very glad we did it - the falls were magnificent, even though we saw only the Argentinian side. The Sheraton is quite nice, with large, comfortable rooms. They may not have slippers, bathrobes or cotton buds, as some travelers complained, but the hotel had turn down...

I was a little nervous about this one, having read the reviews here. My experience was good overall, but I see the point of the many more negative comments. What you get- a hotel in the middle of the park. This means no transportation to arrange from another hotel, a head start on avoiding the tourist herds, and the ability...

This hotel does have a spectacular location, but it is of very poor quality. The rooms are plain and tired, with no frills toiletries. The food is awful. Breakfast is not good, the bread cheap, the eggs gross. Lunch was fine: okay sandwiches and pasta. Dinner was gross. I ordered the corn soup; it was so disgusting I took one...

As other reviewers note, the Hotel is ideally located right beside the trails to the truly spectacular falls on the Argentine side. Get a room on one of the top floors facing the falls and enjoy watching the morning sun change the colours of the mist and spill. Watch what you leave on the balcony, however. The local monkeys spring...
