Thanks to John and his staff for the lovely time we had at the Secret Garden. Everything was perfect: the warm hospitality, the charming house and garden, the cute and perfectly clean rooms, the excellent evening drinks and the delicious breakfasts. We had everything we dream of during travels: a beautiful place where you can rest, as well as a...

To visit the Iguazu Falls was an amazing experience and to stay at the Secret Garden was a privilege. John Fernandez is an exceptional host - generous with his time and services. We stayed in a beautiful comfortable room surrounded by a lush garden. Breakfasts were delicious with an assortment of foods and fresh juices and bottomless cups of freshly...

Well I support every positive comment that has been written about the Secret Garden, on one particular day John suggested we visit the falls on the Brazilian side as well. The driver collected us, unfortunately we only made it as far as the Brazilian Customs office when we had to return, I have a NZ passport my beloved has an...

I cannot recommend John's Secret Garden highly enough. John picked us up from the bus station and gave us a short tour of the town...such s nice man who made us feel so welcome. His staff were so friendly and the evening drinks and snacks were out of this world! A great way to chat to ohers from all corners...

We spent four happy nights here. Arrived in Iguazu in the pouring rain. Feeling cold and pretty unhappy. Those feelings soon vanished on arriving at this magical spot. This is an incredibly relaxing, quiet place to stay with its amazing tropical garden setting. Much nicer than many of the hotels we saw on the way in. It is well located...

I have visited Iguazu twice. Once in a large hotel overlooking the falls. The second choice of the Secret Garden Inn was the best on my second trip. Why? John Fernandez and his capable staff are the reasons. Book early as there are only three rooms. Ask for the largest. John is very helpful and has every solution for you...

On the recommendations read on Trip Advisor I stayed at Secret Garden for 2 days with my 18 year old nephew - and I'm very glad to have found it. I can only repeat the positive reviews from others, John and his staff could not be more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble - including helping my nephew to burn...

This review is long over due and I don't know if I can add much more than what the other reviewers already have. We stayed at the Secret Garden for 2 nights while visiting Iguazu Falls. The place couldn't have been more perfect. John and his staff did everything possible to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. The jungle...

I loved this place! My stay at this B & B was one of the main highlights of my trip to Iguazu Falls. The garden in the back yard between the main house and the B & B rooms was a spectacular delight, a jungle in full bloom, adding privacy as well as beauty. I was impressed by the exceptionally...

Staying at Secret Garden Iguazu was a real pleasure. Everything was simply perfect, rooms are spacious and bright, beds are really comfortable and the breakfast is delicious, featuring a selection of homemade jams, freshly squeezed juices and pawpaws from John's garden. However, John is what makes the place truly memorable. He welcomes guests with kindness and care, helping all guests...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An ideal place to jump-start your visit to the Iguazu Falls in Argentina. High on concept the Secret Garden is populated by tree ferns and other shade-loving plants salvaged from the slash and burn rural and logging activities decimating the surrounding rain-forest. Our location allows you to get a feel of living in a small South American frontier town and has easy access to urban amenities. ... more   less
