It is cheap. And that's great for a traveller on a budget. And it's fine when the weather is better and you can spend entire days outside. But it did get a little worse after a 4-day-long continuous rain - ventillation was imperfect. On the upside, the staff was nice and friendly and I wouldn't mind staying there again provided...

The room with bathroom was ok. The swimmingpool very nice. The staff was not very helpfull, I wanted to buy some postcards but the man at the desk overheard me several times. There was a nice and cosy outdoor area, where nearly everyone sat at the evening/night.

Pros and cons: Start from 5 stars: 1. Location: Although Puerto Iguazu is a very small town, this family-run hostel is away from everything. The walking experience to the center (where the bus terminal is located) is not so pleasant. -1 star 2. Room: Spacious and well-lit. We have a triple room for two, so one bed is very large...

This place is truly not a pleasant place to stay at. It seems to be pretty run down, the rooms do not seem to be very clean and there are strange mechanisms on the shower to heat up the water which were ineffective and also seemed kind of dodgy. There were a bunch of mosquitoes in the room and when...

I made the error of believeing that booking this hostel through my airline´s website would mean it was a good quality hostel. Don´t make the same mistake. Pro´s: 1) location: the hostel´s location is quite close to the bus station where you take the bus to the Iguazu Falls and to where the main (pricey) restaurant street is (5 minutes´walk)....

Having read the other reviews this sounded like a good place to stay but it seems the character changes in the off-season. I read about the dogs and I like animals but when 4 bigger dogs greeted me by jumping on me, one of them scratching me me and having the jaws open I wasn't so pleased. This happend every...

We stayed here for several nights in February and enjoyed it here. The owners dog had just had some very entertaining puppies. The rooms are well sized and have air-con (very necessary) and cable tv. The room could have been cleaner and the shower was basic (low water pressure plus hap-hazard plumbing). The hostal has a pool and high speed...

The placed looked ok, but can only go by our experience which was terrible. Arrived late afternoon, private room looked fine if not properly cleaned in corners (cobwebs etc). My wife went to the toilet and then I tried to but the cistern had not filled. Mentioned this as we went out to explore and were told it would be...

I stayed here for two nights while checking out the waterfalls and I enjoyed it. The couple which own it are friendly and helpful & cooked a lovely BBQ for us. Internet is freely available. The whole place is very clean. My room had both heat or air con and cable TV. Power in shower not amazing but its ok....
