Old hotel with a ton of potential if it were fixed up a bit. We loved the old school door keys, quaint rooms, a tiny elevators, but had no wifi in the room and the pools was quite dirty. For: 1. great central location, 2. it's half the price of the Holiday Inn and Los Silos. 3, the place has history, former President Raul Alfonsín (no doubt other more shady types too) stayed there during the constitutional convention at the start of 90s. 4. the room was reasonably clean. This hotel is a Santa Fe classic. It is cheaper than most hotels in Santa Fe and the location is great. It opened 70 years ago . . and it has never been updated! We were in Santa Fe for a conference and this was one of the hotels we could choose... It is very old (what is fine) and has not been renovated in a long time (what is less charming). Everything in the room looks woren out. It is ok clean but you always feel that these old stuff around you cannot...
