We stayed at Cerro Chico for three nights and it was the best hotel we stayed in whilst in Argentina. The pool area is lovely on a sunny day and the views are stunning from all over the property. The room was lovely (amazing view) and had everything we needed and Nour gave us lots of useful information about the... More

We're both so happy to have stayed at Cerro Chico and to now have such wonderful memories of our time there and in the Quebrada de Humahuaca. We booked in advance and were able to stay in Room 7, the highest of them all on the hill. It was quite spacious and afforded really fantastic views over Tilcara town and... More

After carefully reading reviews and seeing pictures, we chose to stay at Cerro Chico for our trip to Jujuy province in Argentina. This is truly an amazing place to stay. And what makes it wonderful is not just the setting, or how the rooms are done, but the host Nour himself. About the accommodations: This place is hard to find,... More

Cerro Chico is a piece of art created in the stunning valley just outside Tilcara. The setting, overlooking the valley, is breathtaking and the rooms and buildings made from natural materials fit in perfectly with surroundings. Nour is a great host with character and charm and he has made something very special, colorful and peaceful which I would recommend to... More

Individual cabins with nice designer touches. Super comfy beds and ample hot water. You drive down a dusty, rutted road for 2 kilometers b4 arriving at this beautifully designed property. The breakfast is delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the owner (Nour), is a delightful character whose sole wish is that you have enjoyed your stay. I am confident... More

We spent 4 nights at Cerro Chico in November 2015. Our marvelous visit was hosted by Nour, who is Cerro Chico's owner, an extremely gracious host, and a delightful person. The property features guest cabañas, beautifully-maintained gardens, and a swimming pool. Adding to its charm, the property is home to 3 adorable llamas and a family of furry gray foxes.... More

The best thing about these solidly built cabins/bungalows, apart from the personality of the owner, is what he has achieved to create a garden oasis, which is wonderful for birds and other wildlife. We enjoyed time just sitting in our deck chairs and enjoying the views in the foothills. If you wish to make Tilcara your base, this must be... More

The hotel is a few km's outside of town down a dirt track. Our little rental car made it no problem but it's a bit rough so you have to take it slow! Nice little cabins, a lovely pool, and stunning views. The owner Noor is very helpful and knowledgeable about the entire area.

Personally I think you need a car to stay here, it is about 10 minutes by car from town up a rough dirt road. you don't need a high clearance car but I am glad that I did! I would also arrive in the hours of daylight for the first time as the road to the place is best navigated... More

My husband and I spent three days at Cerro Chico and would have stayed for weeks. The hotel is a gorgeous collection of individual adobe rooms, super comfy, rustic luxe, each with a terrace and lounge chairs and the most insane view. There are llamas and (pet) foxes and so many flowers. Nour, the proprietor, is a charming and uber-helpful... More
