We were asked to pay 50% of the total amount via bank transfer in order to secure our reservation otherwise they would have cancelled it. That was written also on booking.com but we weren't aware of how much the Argentinian bank was going to charge us. We paid 29€ on a total transaction of 125€, which would have been the... More

I am a University professor and stayed at La Justina for three weeks with a group of American students. I could NOT have chosen a better places. My students slept in the dorms with shared bathrooms and I was in a room by myself. The owner of the Hostel, Agustina, is just WONDERFUL. Very helpful with the reservation, payment, information... I'm told that the hostel has just gone back to management by the previous owners and the care, service, and dedication of an owner-run establishment is tangible! Great facilities, clean, comfortable rooms, and a large and cheerful kitchen.

I stayed by myself in November 2011. It wasn't the best hostel but it certainly wasn't the worst in my trip. It is a bit of an uphill walk from the main street but if you're in this region, you're likely going to Patagonia to hike so it is nothing. The kitchen here is quality. It was damn well stocked... I'd call this an average stay at best. The owner is helpful, however the employee is surly and gives the impression that you're an inconvenience. The hostel itself is in dire need of attention. It's dirty and the upstairs bathroom is quite moldy and old. The big and bright kitchen is equipped with beaten, battered and somewhat dangerous pans (handles... More

Visiting Bariloche in the high season, this was the only "decent looking" place with a double room that had availability that was recommended to us by another hostel. So I emailed and thought I reserved a room based on my correspondence with the employee at La Justina. When we arrived, they didn't have our booking written down nor did they... More

Fortunately we only spent one night at La Justina (we had to move from Arko Hostel since it was completely booked for our last night). We had a double room with shared bathroom. The room was tiny, old with shabby furniture and didn't seem to be very clean. We didn't feel comfortable in the bed as we found some hairs... More

This is a small hostel and maybe not your first choice if you are an international traveller looking for people to hang out with unless you speak good Spanish! Having said that it's a very friendly place with a large kichen / dining area that people like to hang out in. The double room we stayed in was nice enough... More

And if you are, this won't be the highlight of your trip for sure. Staff and people were very friendly, but it is not very well located, if te owners put a little money on it it will definitely improve. For now, not recommended at all.
