We spent two nights at Los Barrancos. The rooms are comfortable, just what you need. The breakfast is nice too. But you will go there for 1. the friendliness of the staff and the beautiful location!! Indeed, we were welcomed by the nicest people, ready to help or chat. Also, the hotel is a little outside of the city, but...

We spent a couple of nights and the experience was very good. Although it's not located in the town centre, we enjoyed the walk (about 15 min) and the staff was very helpful with the recommendations. The room was clean, big and spacious and the common areas were very nicely decorated. They were offering for breakfast sweet and savoury options....

I normally book my hotels a night before I arrive at a city, and I did the same with this. After several hours of making the booking, I received an email from Ana, the host. She wanted to know my arrival time as well as if I needed pick up from the airport. This shows professionalism. When I arrived, Ana...

It is a fair deal if it costs 60 dollars or less. The hotel is not so close to the city and at night you will need a cab. Room is fair and the view is really good. Would not stay again, you can get a better rate at a better location and same or better quality.

Location A bit on the outer edge of town and set up on a hill. Great for the view, but not so great if you wish to walk to restaurants and shops. It is about a 20 minute walk into town. They arranged a shuttle service from the airport for 100 Pesos per person. This was very professional and nicely...

Although Ana was a little bit overcrowded by work and we had to be patient, she was definitely of unestimated value. She arranged in a fraction of time all tours we needed, i.e. to the Perito Moreno and to Torres del Paine. The room we received was at the end of the estate and was spacious, clean, comfortable and had...

I stayed (actually in Feb 2015) together with a couple of friends. The kindness and helpfulness of the owner gave to our stay an added value, providing very useful information about Calafate (best to eat, etc) arranging taxi transport, even a restaurant when we were run out of time to make a reservation. Really nice way to take care of...

The hotel is really comfy with Argentinean traditional touches and a wonderful view of the city and the lake. It is located 15-20 minutes walk from downtown in the hill. Although a bit far from commercial and food options, it compensates with the beautiful view and the friendly host. Ana was always great in giving information and advice as well...

Great place, and great staff. Ana, the owner, makes you feel like an old friend. We arrived mid morning and she offered us coffee and cake and spent with us one hour to explain all the different tours and possible excursions. The Hostaria is close to downtown (15 min walk or 3$ taxi ride) positioned on a hill with a...
