Cauquenes de Nimez is a quiet and excelent place to stay in Calafate, with a great view to Laguna Nimez and Lago Argentino. The service is really great and friendly wich make our stay there even better, the room was warm and comfortable and well decorated. A great place. Strongly recommended it

We loved this hotel! Stayed here for 4 nights, and we can recommend this place to everyone. Only 5-10 minutes walk to the the center of town and a very nice view on the Lake Argentino. The host is very friendly, helpfull and if you do not feel like eating in town, try the restaurant at the hotel!

Gabriel and Victoria were really helpful, there were 4 of us and he suggested a car for the day as it was cheaper than 4 bus tours of the glacier, this really made for a great day. The hotel is the very tasteful, breakfast room is beautiful with view of bird sanctuary. Lots of other hang out spaces in the...

What I found unacceptable: - The hotel is not clean. There appeared to be blood stains on the shower curtain. The windows were covered in dust and dirt. Spider webs were not in short supply. I simply find an unclean hotel room unacceptable. - Things were broken. The closet was falling off. The TV didn't work. There are very few...

Lodging offering comfortable, clean, small rooms only a 10 minute walk from the center of town, attentive and helpful reception, and a lovely breakfast. Reasonably priced and a fine place to stay. One can buy boxed lunches to take on full day adventures.

The thing that pleased me most about this hotel was its location. It is located near the lakefront (very near to the entrance to Laguna Nimez) which gives the setting a peaceful, non-touristy feel and of course a view onto the lake and easy access to the bird sancturary. While there are more dramatic views of the lake to be...

First of all, there is very kind and helpfull staff. I liked nicely decorated lobby, dinning-room and floors. It is just few steps from the lake´s shore. in general this is a very pleasant place to stay in El Calafate and we turned back for the last night before departure. I would absolutely recommend it. I would only claim the...

I arrived late in El Calafate and was really hungry.. All the restaurants were already closed that time since it was late. The owner was kind enough to offer to make a sandwich for me to eat. It was really satisfying. The next morning I checked out, they allowed me to leave my stuff while I go out for my...

The hotel Cauquenes de Nimez gave the feeling it was our second home. From the moment we arrived we felt a kind and warm welcome from the staff. The free afternoon tea added to the second home feeling. It felt like coming home from school while your mom waits for you at home with a cup of tea and a...
