LOCATION: A short 10 minute walk (slightly uphill on the way back) to the center of town / port. (Ushuaia is not very big.) There's a grocery store just down the street. SERVICE: Solange is the main point of contact as she speaks French, Spanish, and English, and is a very hospitable host. She happens to work at a travel...

Overall mixed feelings about our stay at this B&B. On the positive side: it was fun to interact with an Argentine family and the other guests, the room had an unusual layout but was clean, access to a kitchen made an expensive Ushuaia more reasonable, and Solange (who speaks excellent English) had information about any question asked. However, it would...

Very good B&B in Ushuaia close to the center (less than 10 minutes walk). Rooms are cosy, warm and very clean as well as the house's bathrooms. There is a dedicated kitchen and fridge for the guests but you share a very good breakfast with Solange (owner's daughter) who gives advise on what to do and with who you can have...

Ushuaia fills up quick during the busy season but, you really can't go wrong with this B&B. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights before our Antarctica trip and enjoyed our stay so much we decided to book 2 more nights for when we returned to Ushuaia the following month. We stayed in the room with the shared...

Ushuaia tends to book up and be quite full during the high season of December and January. One consequence is that most of the beds and breakfasts are clearly homes letting out rooms rather than individuals making a conscious business choice focused on their customer needs. While the family of four generations was interesting, they seemed to be going through...

We booked this B&B for a night after our Antarctica cruise. We had a very comfortable stay. The owners were very accommodating and the room comfortable. It is a short walk to the grocery store. The walk to downtown is a little longer.

Expect the unexpected! after travelling for three weeks in Argentina, we decided to stay in a B&B in Ushuaia, thinking it would be, well, a B&B. This place offers a lot more, though. A welcoming family, profound conversations with a four generation female household (English, Spanish and French) -this is counting in Solange's cute little girl- made it a fascinating...

We stayed here with hostess Solange (and her mother and baby) for 3 nights prior to an Antarctic cruise and could not have been more satisfied. The location is perfect for walking downtown to the main street and port area, also to a well stocked supermarket, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Unlike most B&Bs, you have...

We sepnt 3 nights at La Maison de Ushuaïa and I can warmly recommend it. THe French owners are really friendly and helpful, bake their own bread and make their own marmelade for breakfast. The street where it's located is also really quiet without being too far from the town centre. The rooms are not very big but still spacious...

The B&B has all the necessary requirements - comfortable, convenient and reasonably priced. What makes this experience special is the people. Salonge does a job that puts the concierge of a 5 star hotel to shame. On day 1 of our stay, she shepherded the 5 people staying with her down to the port to make sure we got on...

“The downstairs room has a bathroom which you share with the grandma, but in that one there is no chance of hot water conflicts as their were in the upstairs rooms where bathrooms are shared with the rest of the family.”
