Pleasant, affordable rooms. The manager was welcoming and helpful (spanish speaking only) and ensured a pleasant family friendly environment. The place was clean and quiet time was enforced. Located in a quiet dinner and yet still walking distance to the main square.

We stayed at Princesa Maria for 8 nights in total, although originally we only booked 3. Extended 3 times. All staff at the hostel are very nice and super friendly, Victor, Maria, Yolanda and even the cleaning lady. Rooms are spacious with good bathroom and everything is nice and clean. There is a kitchen available for use and it is...

All the positive reviews about this place are true! Good location just outside of the noisy places, very comfortable spacious rooms, and overly hospitable staff. We had the bad luck of having someone smoking in one room next to us, a crying baby in another, and relatively early morning bathroom renovations all on the same day. The owners had warned...

We spent three nights in this hostel and had a lovely time there. The host is helpful, kitchen and facilities in good shape. The only negatives were a dirty linen when we arrived (no big deal but something to mention) and the horrible hiking map we received. Got lost in the mountains more than once and met others struggling as...

Really nice place. As to feel yourself home as to have a nice traveller atmosphere. We spent four days in a private room and was good to chill out, take the clothes out of the backpack, have our own bathroom and cook sometimes. The accommodations are simple, but really clean and spacious, the staff is lovely and the house is...

The rooms were clean and spacious. The service was absolutely wonderful. The owner is willing to help you do whatever you would like. They have a strict policy of quiet after 11:00pm which is fine, so you can rest up for the next days activities. It is an easy walk to downtown. We were really surprised how much there was...

Stayed here over Christmas and loved it. Booked for two nights and ended up staying for 5. The rooms are nice and clean. The communal kitchen was well stocked. But what made the hostel was Victor and Maria, they were always willing to help and nothing was to much for them. Great hostel, one of the best from our 5...

One of the best hostels we stayed in during our trip in South-America. Victor and his family are friendly, warm and always there to help you. Our room (double) was clean, spacious and with comfortable beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and a great place to meet other people. Even after 5 nights in this hostal it felt hard to...

This is one of the most friendly and clean hostels I've ever stayed at (from Australia / NZ to Europe to SE Asia and S. America). If you go to Baños, do yourself a favor and stay here. I planned to be there for two nights and it was so homey that I ended up staying more than a week....

Where do i start in reviewing this place. This was the cleanest and friendliest hostel that we had stayed in South America so far. Bictor Senior and Bictor Junior mainly run the front desk and are funny and helpful. This place felt like home and we extended our time here. Kitchen is big and clean. Location and security are all...
