I stayed there for two nights and I couldn't sleep at all. Stuff doesn't care what's going on there and often absent at all. There are people who talk, yell, laugh, sing, listen to the music and smoke weed any time of day and night and stuff doesn't do anything about that. Check out time is at 10 am and...

Clean place to sleep but that's as far as it goes. Very outdated rooms in need of repair. No food available and one outlet in the room. Beds and linens extremely worn. Located in the heart of the city, it was difficult to sleep due to noise. It is close to restaurants and shopping as well as many attractions.

This place is dirty, smelly and noisy. It really is a health risk, mould everywhere and terrible smell. In our part of the world this would be shut down. It was cheap yes, but we are now staying just down the road for $2 more and it's much nicer. I would not recommend it.

There is a rooftop common area to hang out with a dirty kitchen for cooking. The wifi only works in the tiny reception area which isn't that great. It's a little run down and my room's dark and without windows but I don't mind as I only go to sleep there. Bathroom's something to reckon with. It is close to...

There is no common area to hang out in and the wifi only works in the reception area and isn't the greatest. We booked through HostelWorld but when we turned up they had no clue and told us there weren't any rooms available. We had to go back that night and talk to the owner. When the owner finally showed...

Stayed at CharVic for 18 nights and paid about $4.50 a night for a small private room with shared shower...I really enjoyed staying here and Daniel the owner is extremely friendly and helpful with any information you need here in Banos as well as other places nearby. From the rooftop you have an amazing 360 view of the surrounding mountains...

I have to say, I think this was the worst hostel we ever stayed at! I'm very sorry to have to give a bad evaluation since the owner was really nice, but our room was really bad.... We only stayed one night in a room with a private bathroom for 15$. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned, since there was hair...

We stayed at Baños for three nights. We payed 6 bucks each for a private. The room was good and clean. The beds were alright. The only thing we had a issue was with the restroom that was a but smelly and there was some crazy noice with some wireing and flickering lights. Great if you want to safe money...

I'm a backpacker and traveling through south america. I stayed at charvic for the price. $4.50 for a private room is amazing. The rooms are clean and the people are nice. It's a little run down but I don't mind. It has a rooftop and a kitchen for cooking.

Hostal Charvic is good value for money and the rooms very cosy. The bed and pillows were excellent and the shower super hot. Daniel and his staff deserve great appraisal for all the work they do in keeping clientele happy. It´s also super close to everything in little Banos and you will get special insider info upon arrival on where...
