The owners were extremely warm and welcoming. They made us feel like family. Even their dogs, Luke and Lulu, made us feel welcome. Luis, the manager was our favorite!! He constantly made sure everything was perfect for us. We can not say enough wonderful things about him. Our suite was amazing, with the most gorgeous views, of the countryside. It's... More

We arrived after taking a regular mountain road, not dangerous. The place is magical, lots of birds everywhere, lots of hummingbird. The service is outstanding, everyone was pleased to help us and make us confortable, he room view, wow, espectacular. Food was awesome, top quality, the 40 minutes to the city of Baños does not feel far at all. I... More

Booked through Gate 1. I don't think I will come here by myself. This is such a long ride but it's so worth it. The view is unbelievable beautiful. We are on top of the mountain. Because it is at such a high altitude, I have short of breathe easily. So make sure you take it slow when you walk.... More

Long, tree-lined drive leads to a large stone façade. Just beautiful. Inner courtyard has a fountain and nice plantings. The chapel was peaceful and stunning, laden with white roses. This is part of a rose plantation. Lots of history here. Had a nice 'local flavor' lunch in a beautiful long room. Also serenaded by 'Grupo de Musica Latino Americana Cotopaxi',... More

The staff are very attentive and this place has the feel of staying in a B&B. Unfortunately, the area lost power during the night, but that did not keep them from serving breakfast. There are breathtaking views of the volcano and the grounds are well maintained.

The hospitality & the view were beyond what we expected in this 17th century property. The Cotopaxi National Park outside our window was a spectacular experience to wake up to in the morning. I would only recommend an experienced mountain driver to get there though.

Amazing hacienda, located in a very beautiful place. The hospitality and kindness of the staff was wonderful! I would recommend visitors to stay in the main building instead of the suites, and book an hour of horse riding with a guide in the beautiful area.

This was a cozy spot with beautiful grounds and lovely welcoming dogs. A family atmosphere and very helpful staff. The rooms were nice and clean, but cold. I was able to look in a few more rooms and they were all different but cute. We did have a heater but it didn't really heat up the room... at all! It... More

This lodge was selected by the tour company. Other than a walk through the gardens and petting the two dogs it's not worth the long winding journey up hill for a cold nite sleep. A "warm" welcome reception for guests by lightning the fire place would have been nice, the building was ice cold. Some rooms had mini fire places,... More
