This is a wonderful hotel to stay with family or friends. I have been there on several occasions, and every time we had the same excellent experience. It is located in the mountains, so it is quite, have a beautiful garden, great views of Tungurahua volcano. The rooms are beautiful, very well decorated, and the whole place is very homey....

This is a great place to go with family and friends. Service is great and very friendly and rooms are comfortable. Nature is everywhere with the imposing Tungurahua volcano towering above. It is also active (don't worry, it is safe). If you are lucky, you can see the best natural fireworks at night.

We stayed at Hacienda Manteles as part of our tour of Ecuador with Gate 1 Travel. This place was incredible! My only complaint is that we weren't able to stay longer. The rooms inside the main Hacienda are quaint and charmingly rustic, and the newer suites are modern, airy and have AMAZING views. The photos attached to this review were...

This hotel is way up in the mountains. I stayed here with a tour group. Not sure how people would get here otherwise. The hotel was very homey with a lovely common area in the main house and delicious meals. The rooms have large windows overlooking the mountains and, if you are lucky, the volcano. It was too cloudy to...

Spent 1 night here as part of a group tour. No view due to the rain and clouds. It's high up the mountain and quite remote so going to town (Banos) was not an option. The food was good but nothing special.

Family owned hotel. Very friendly people. We cannot to wait to explore the place when we arrived there. The beautiful garden made me feel like we were in the Europe. We stayed the further newly building. We do not want to cover up the big glass window even at the night. View the live volcano from our room. It was...

I loved this place with the incredible view of the volcano. I was with a gate 1 group tour of 28. The people that run the hacienda were very accommodating and it felt like a home away from home. The food was so yummy at both dinner and breakfast the following day. I love being greeted by the two dogs...

This hotel located in a scenic area surrounded by green mountains with a live rumbling volcano nearby but in a safe distance away. There are two different kind of rooms, rooms in the main building and some villa like buildings nearby. The villas have all the deluxe modern comfortable fixtures but kind of inconvinence of going back and forth to...

Charming hotel located in a spectacular region surrounded by mountains and the Tungurahua Volcano. You will be welcomed by the 2 dogs of the Hacienda, friendly and eager to be hugged. The Hacienda has 5 rooms in the main building. In this building, you have the reception, the dining room and a living room with a fire place. The other...
