We booked a sunset fale with our own bathroom basically why we stayed here because we were literally right on the water. Wouldn't have wanted to stay in one where you shared a bathroom. Really friendly staff. Middle of nowhere so good to book a...More
Va-i-Moana is a wonderful collection of varying types, sizes and styles of accommodation set in a secluded seaside location way up the north of the "Big Island" of Savai'i. We were there when a chief from Apia was celebrating his 60th birthday with about 30...More

This resort had a great vibe, super location and one of the best sunset watching spots in Savaii. We really enjoyed the setup of our fale and the snorkeling tour was a highlight. Having dinner included in the price made our stay stress free but...More

I'd take your own wine if you can. They had only cask wine when we stayed. Yuck! The local beer is good and relatively cheap. They make an awesome pinà colada as the coconut cream and pineapple are fresh. The other cocktails were not as nice as they use artificial syrup flavourings. Over all I'd say our bar tab was pretty cheap. We bought beer at the local stores for our fale as well. The young coconuts are lovely and refreshing too. As someone else said you need to drink bottled water which is about $SD6 from memory for a large bottle. We asked for a jug for our room so we could boil our own and refill the bottles. They were happy to oblige.
