I have travelled frequently to Samoa over the past three months and stayed at Alaimoana for all of the 3 months because of both the hospitality and excellent service provided by management, staff and even those families connected to the hotel. It was a home away from home; I was treated as a high chief from a distant land and... More

Having traveled to Apia frequently for work over the past 8 years or so, I've stayed in many hotels there with varying experiences. I stayed at Alaimoana the first time shortly after it was constructed, and since then have never stayed anywhere else in Apia. It's a small establishment run by a local family with a commitment to providing a... More

For our final night in Samoa after a few hit and miss properties I opted to go with what I knew and return to Le alaimoana. Rates are some of the best you will find for this quality of room! Rooms are clean, equipped with old clean beds and facilities even microwaves which is handy with kids. Bathrooms clean and... More

I only stayed 2 nights, but found this a great place to base ourselves as we explored the island. The beds are very comfortable, the gardens are beautiful, we enjoyed our meals and most of all, the people were very friendly and helpful. One of our party left something in the room and it was no problem to deliver this... More

Rooms were nice with really comfy beds. Shaded outdoors & pool was great on a hot afternoon. However, the bar & staff didnt seem to mind having extremely drunk people making heaps of noise all night until well after midnight - just a few metres away from our room (we were on the ground floor). Not sure why its reccommended... More

Talofa harlsshiz, We are not happy when our guests are not happy and I wished you had let me know when you were with us, and we could have fixed things then and there. Le Alaimoana has a homely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Tucked away from the bustle of Apia's CBD in Matautu Uta, it's a quiet place to relax and not too far from the thick of things. The rooms are spartan, have an aircon and a TV set and fridge. The restaurant serves breakfasts and has a modest menu for meals.... More

I loved my week long stay at this beautiful budget spot. Nice friendly staff and the ammenities are well kept. Great staff. Clean reasonably spacious rooms. You can walk most places form here. Or get a cheap taxi just down the road. Yummy evening meals provided if you want to stay in. Breakfast is ordinary but sufficient. Good to have internet- but it is expensive. Would stay again.
