Grand hotel in great town with much to see and do. Including Watson Lake and Dells. Rooms are small but adequate. Staff is outstanding whose only goal is to please the customer. Great front desk personnel.

Charming!!!!! Like stepping back in time. The restaurant was outstanding. The staff, especially Kate, was professional but also very warm and personable. Would return for another adventure again and again.

Loved this historic hotel in the heart of downtown Prescott. The rooms were small but immaculate. Had everything we needed. We were able to check in a few hours early which helped with our plans. Lovely little bar and restaurant in the lobby with great entertainment. Wonderful restaurant across the street and several pubs and cafes all around. Very reasonable...

The Hassayampa Inn was a perfect place to stay for a night as we wanted to explore Prescott and then hike the next day before leaving for Phoenix. We were very pleased with the overall accommodations and friendly staff. The Peacock Dining Room served an outstanding breakfast as well. The rooms were well appointed and we enjoyed the ambiance of...

Good friendly service. We were allowed to check in early. Room was a bit on the small side. Bathroom was extremely small. We knew it was an historic inn and had no plans to spend time in the room so we weren't too concerned. Lobby was pleasant with a faux fire that was welcome given that we were experiencing cooler...

By accident we ended up at Hassayampa Inn as we thought we had reservations at another small inn in Prescott. But, we were directed to Hassyampa and enjoyed our one night stay. I absolutely love the lobby architecture. I am an Architect with a concentration in Historic Preservation, and I work in Charleston, SC. So, it was fun to look...

This is an interesting old hotel. Some very nice historic details. But I would NOT recommend you stay here. First, we had a group going to stay for a sport tournament. When many of us had to change reservations due to the tournament schedule, the hotel flipped out. Refused to let us cancel for 1 night even though no contract...

I got into my room and enchanting as the old stile elevator up to the room and excellent front desk service before that I got a call from the front desk asking me how my room was. Never having that before made me feel special so awesome and big 2 thumbs up for that. After a long day out i...

The upside is that the Hassayampa was within walking distance to every where we were going and was full of charm! The lobby had a great little sitting area with a fireplace. Keep in mind that the hotel is very old and so is most of the stuff in it. We booked one of the king suites. It was an...

We have stayed here twice, getting a great price both times. This is a beautiful historic hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but I think they were back then. Some people talk about ghosts at this hotel so we played that up and scared our fellow travels!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Known as the Grand Dame of Prescott, the Hassayampa Inn was built as a luxury Hotel in 1927 to entice Phoenix tourists to flee the summer heat. Nostalgic elegance with a restored 1920's style lobby, little has changed since the Inn first opened its doors 81 years ago, but every modern amenity you'd expect a 21st century hotel to offer, including high speed wireless internet. Enjoy world class cuisine in the ultra-fashionable, yet comfortable, Peacock Dining Room. Live jazz is frequent in the leisurely Cowboy Bar. Prescott's world-famous Courthouse square is a mere block away with endless boutiques and antique stores. ... more   less
