You are new to Prescott; you are looking for a really nice place for dinner; something akin to a lot of places you know of back home in your big city... The first sign of trouble is when you check out online for "Best Places" and get a list that includes a Pizza joint and a take-out Chinese place... If...

We decided to do a quick one night get away to Prescott. It's less than a couple hours drive from Phx. The hotel is a historic building in old downtown Prescott Az. The rooms are small but comfortable and they have beautiful old furniture in them. The hotel has a lot of history! They host a happy hour and the...

Everyone here was friendly and helpful beyond any and all expectations. We stayed here for new year's eve and it was steps away from downtown. The hotel being pet friendly was a huge bonus and our dog had a wonderful time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed here the week of Christmas 2016. Perhaps the heavy snow on Christmas Eve had something to do with our overall "magical" Christmas experience, but the hotel helped as well. Every staff member we encountered had a cheerful, willing attitude . We got a little tired of the canned "absolutely," and I would suggest that the management relax that...

If you want to get some sleep, you might try another hotel. Unfortunately, we had to listen to a domestic dispute along with their crying children all night... Heartbreaking. I asked the front desk if they could move us but the hotel was booked. You can literally hear everything! Also, their pillows are more like bean bags. Small, lumpy and...

This was our second stay at the Hassayampa Inn, both times in December for anniversary celebration. If you enjoy staying in historical inns, then this is one for you. The inn is nearly 100 years old and has preserved a lot of its character and charm from years gone by. The architecture is very beautiful, and the décor in the...

This is supposed to be one of the premier historic locations in Prescott. It has been extremely well preserved and it gives a fantastic view of the past, just don't eat there. The food and wait staff were unbelievably lacking. The wait staff knew nothing of the history of the building and any questions about the unbelievably limited menu meant...

Absolutely loved this hotel. A little mix up when we arrived, but Front desk manager Karen went above and beyond! Not only did she get us a room, but upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge! We had lunch and breakfast the next day at the Peacock Room. Both were excellent! Will definitely visit agaim!

Have thought of staying here for many years so finally just for an overnight getaway we booked a room. Hotel is on the National Register so figured what it was like in the 1920's was what we'd get in the 2000's. It is, charming still the same. If you don't mind period small bathrooms and really tiny closets, an ancient...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Known as the Grand Dame of Prescott, the Hassayampa Inn was built as a luxury Hotel in 1927 to entice Phoenix tourists to flee the summer heat. Nostalgic elegance with a restored 1920's style lobby, little has changed since the Inn first opened its doors 81 years ago, but every modern amenity you'd expect a 21st century hotel to offer, including high speed wireless internet. Enjoy world class cuisine in the ultra-fashionable, yet comfortable, Peacock Dining Room. Live jazz is frequent in the leisurely Cowboy Bar. Prescott's world-famous Courthouse square is a mere block away with endless boutiques and antique stores. ... more   less
