The Saguaro is always quick to provide not just great, but the BEST customer service. They are accommodating and a delight to work with...Arianna and the catering team especially, though I have worked with the entire Saguaro staff for several types of events on several occasions. They never fail to disappoint and I will continue to go back again and...

Just returned from a two night stay, This hotel is run down, the rooms are outdated with updated lamps and artwork. the carpet was dirty, the patio door lock broken, a coffee maker in the room that did not work, and OLD bathtub. Only two large towels. and very noisy .The main pool was over run by loud 30 somethings,...

They list it as New Rooms. But don’t expect much beyond a poorly installed new vanity and some sloppy paint (didn’t even paint the stained popcorn celling). Forget anything like outlets or USB jacks. In our first room the dead bolt wouldn’t even lock and the battery in the safe was dead. They moved us to another room which was...

Spent three nights at the Saguaro for a conference. The meeting facilities were excellent and so were the meals provided as part of our stay there. Great location within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Every staff member that I met was helpful and friendly. My sleeping room was clean and attractively decorated, but there was one major problem,...

This is our fourth year staying at the Saguaro during Spring Training for the Cactus League. It's a great hotel in terms of proximity to Scottsdale Stadium and Old Town. The best, though, is the staff, especially Jamie, the valet, and Sarah, the barista.

The hotel is in an amazing location, it is beautiful/fun (lots of great photo ops because of the colours), the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, pool great, bikes to borrow sooooo...fun! We'd come back in a sec. Extra special thanks to Andrew for all the restaurant tips and great service.

The rooms definitely felt dated. Doors (closet, balcony, etc.) were all in need of being replaced. It seems like they have done tried to make things appear newer with paint, etc. but the bones of the hotel feel very worn. The pool area is great and main reception area appeared to have been more recently renovated. There was a nice...

Yes this hotel has its issues, the whole lipstick on a pig analogy is somewhat accurate. It looks as though they tried to cover up all the flaws with paint. But other then that, this hotel is great and I enjoyed my stay immensely. Everything from the pool to the perfect location to just the general vibe made my stay...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Scottsdale is the place to go for art, shopping and nightlife in the Valley of the Sun. Now there's a hotel creating even more desire around the desert experience. The Saguaro has arrived, bringing with it a new look to where Old Town, the Arts district and Civic Center Mall meet. Bright, lush and vibrant, it's a fresh face amid Scottsdale's buzzing downtown scene. Guestrooms & Suites: The Saguaro experience begins, fittingly enough, outside amid the arid weather and brilliant sunlight of the Sonoran Desert. Each room exterior is accented by the color of a native desert flower, creating a visual spectrum throughout the resort grounds. Inside, your room's primary color is joined by contemporary and natural furnishings in wood and leather, including hand-crafted pieces imported from Mexico. Services & Amenities: A stay here is about relaxation, nature and yes, our two famous pools. Both are easy walks from every room, heated and ringed by cabanas. The Saguaro Spa welcomes you to de-stress even further. When it's time to recharge, the comprehensive fitness center will get you looking your best for around the poolside bar. Guestroom Amenities• All rooms renovated October 2016• Flat screen, wall mounted 42" HDTVs• Authentic, traditional Mexican furniture • Views of Old Town and Civic Center park (select rooms)• Outdoor patios or step out balconies • Soaking tubs and separate shower (suites)• Work desks• Wireless Internet• Stereo with iPod docking station• On-demand movies and music. Meetings: It's the weather. The golf courses: The deals closed over cocktails by the pool. Whatever the reason, Scottsdale is a top choice for corporate gatherings. The Saguaro provides over 15,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, with wraparound patios, fireplaces, and a fire pit. We're ready to make your event a strategic success. Scottsdale's business climate is dynamic. Companies headquartered in Scottsdale include APL, Dial, Fender, Go Daddy, Kahala Corp, Kona Grill, Medicis, P.F. Chang's, Rural Metro, iCrossing and Taser, to name a few. ... more   less
