We arrived at the Smoke Tree Resort, which looked almost deserted. We were pleasantly greeted at the office location and were showed both our parking space and the room we would have. It had a nice patio shared with other rooms around a nice green lawn and also a small pool, pleasantly located. We noted an air conditioner unit adjacent...

Nice tri-plex bungalows on the grounds, but they are cinderblock and really, really basic. Really jacked the price above what was quoted - they claimed that Bookings.com and the state taxes were responsible. Sliding glass door with a simple key lock - not the safest place I've been. We kept our pistols on the nightstands just in case. No modern...

Revisit Scottsdale as it was in its golden years at a resort with lush grounds, abundant fruit trees and updated bungelows. The property is doomed to redevelopment so stay there while you can still enjoy the senernity, quiet, and amenities such as your own patio. The pool area is lovely, with a gas barbecue and comfortable lounging. A fire pit,...

We arrived at around 9pm for a five day business trip and pulled up to what can only be described as a derelict building. We spotted the office tucked away on the right hand side and entered to be greater by a very polite lady who was one of the most helpful people you could ever meet! We were directed...

The portion of the building facing the main street appeared vacant and unappealing. The tiny office was tucked in at one end and was easy to miss. Living units occurred in various separate buildings with three units to a building. Each unit has a private entry from outside and a patio. I liked the sense of privacy. We had nice...

"Staycation" for Labor Day weekend brought us here. Good value for an old, traditional Arizona resort. Extraordinarily quiet and many good restaurants are close by. A little run down and in need of a facelift, but the solitude more than made up for the condition of the property. I would rather stay here than stay at a pretentious and snooty...

The office and front of the resort were in pretty bad shape, however once we got to our room/bungalow, we found the room very clean and neat. All the usual things.. coffee maker, small kitchenette were stocked with the morning necessities. Management were quick to supply any needed items that were missing and even though we got here way before...

Older but charming bungalows.. Furniture, curtians, carpet all need replacing. Sofa bed was terrible. Queen bed was ok but if you are allergic to dust do not stay here. Kitchenette was very basic and missing basic items.

I traveled to Scottsdale for a five day business stay. Smoke Tree offered a large and comfortable room with good TV and internet connection.Price was very reasonable and the resort style grounds with stately eucalyptus trees was all very pleasing.
