My boyfriend and I spent last weekend at this lovely Starwood resort. We chose the hotel based on other Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. The entire resort is beautifully maintained and offered wonderful amenities - three 9-hole golf courses (we are not golfers so we did not use), nine pools, a gym, spa, and numerous outdoor games such...

We are, however, disappointed to hear that some aspects of your stay fell short of meeting our AAA Five Diamond standards. Please know...

She ask few questions about our next visit and plan a lot of surprises for us. I was celebrate something and we choose this resort to play tennis. The room was large, very...

We visited in December of 2014 for a family gathering and to play golf. The resort is beautiful with lovely gardens and fanciful artwork. The golf course is delightful and challenging. What made the stay exceptional enjoyable was the super friendly people who helped with bags, food, golf, etc. An unexpected highlight of our stay was hearing the inspired Anthony...

I stayed here with my family of 4 and our friend's family of 4 over Thanksgiving break. We had a few hiccups at check in (not able to get our room until 7pm), but the hotel went out of its way to make everything right. It is really a fabulous place for families. There are multiple pools, a great water...

The Phoenician is a hidden gem nestled on the base of Camelback Mountain. As soon as we arrived, the attentive bell staff were at our car opening the doors, and taking our luggage out of the trunk. The lobby is magnificent, the clean, shiny marble floors really adds the classic yet elegant lobby. The front desk staff were exceptionally nice,...

The Phoenician is still a first class resort even if the rooms are a bit dated. The service is to notch and the amenities are excellent. We were there the last week of December and the nights were a bit chilly. The outdoor fire pits in the Thirsty Camel were just perfect to take in the air and socialize. The...

After reading nothing but raving reviews, I have to admit the Phoenician was not love at first sight. The building from the outside looks extremely dated to me. Maybe this is because I'm European, where top notch hotels are either classical palaces full of history or modern cutting edge building with the latest gadgets. The Phoenician is neither. Part of...
