I was happy with my stay! I'm from OR state and had NO idea how to get anywhere. One of your employees, Ashley I believe, pointed me where to go every time I asked, and I asked a lot lol! Your whole staff are very nice and helpful, but I hers is the only name I caught. Have to say it's the best experience Ive had. Next time I'm in town I will for sure be staying there again!! Thank you!!

This is regarding Element Sedona and all searching for a stay there. Element Sedona of the Marriott Group has two very different prices for the same room, so choose the cheaper price. When Booking.com changed my reservation from another hotel to Element Sedona one and a half days before my stay, they included a cancellation penalty of $429. When I later compared the room rate of Booking.com to that of corporate website Marriott, the Marriott website was 40%+ cheaper. But I could not cancel because of the $429 penalty imposed by Booking.com. I asked Element Sedona during check in to change the price on my reservation to the Marriott website price, but they denied my request. Check the Marriott website first! The price is much cheaper for those who go directly to the Marriott website.

I do apologize for any inconvenience you received with booking.com. Unfortunately, our policy with booking.com does not allow us to modify there reservations unless they specify the modification to us and approve it. There are several factors that go into play with the rates listed through the 3rd party. I would suggest that you review all booking sources in the future as the rates will slightly fluctuate to reflex the platform. As for your stay here at the Element, we are happy you were able to experience our hotel. We do hope to host you in the future. Thank you for your feedback.

we stayed at Marriott Element in the Village of Oak Creek. I would highly recommend this as the go to Hotel. It is conveniently located to some fabulous restaurants, hiking trails and great photo opts. The room had everything we could possibly need even a small kitchen with 2 Queens The staff were very nice but we must say the Professional care and attention that the manager Patricia Leuer went far beyond our expectations and I do not want to forget to mention her assistance we have visited the area many times in the last 35 plus years, so when one employee does and has superb customer service skills, we must acknowledge. In an era when that seems to have been forgotten. Yes and we plan on another visit there and highly recommend the Marriott Element to anyone considering it in the future.

We stayed for three nights in early January. The hotel is about 15 minutes drive south of Sedona, which was perfect for us. It is located near some great hiking trails and there are conveniences nearby such as gas, grocery store, pharmacy, and a few restaurants. The suite was spacious and clean. There is no daily housekeeping, but we were able to easily get extra towels from the front desk. There is a variable hot breakfast. One day was breakfast tacos, one day was scrambled eggs w/ cheese, one day was french toast w/ fruit. There is also cereal, fruit, granola bars, toast, juice, coffee. It was enough that we felt very satisfied and didn't need to have any supplemental breakfast outside of the hotel. Shout out to two great employees: Patricia was the night person at the front desk and she was FANTASTIC. It seems she is the only employee on site at night (shame on you, Marriott) and some nights were full occupancy, but she handled it all with aplomb - front desk, pool, some not-so-kind guests, phone, laundry and whatever else we didn't see. She was kind, helpful and provided great tips of local things to do. We also worked with Michelle to book a Pink Jeep Tour (highly recommended) and she was also DELIGHTFUL. We made our arrangements over email before we came, but made it a point to meet her in person once we were there. She was kind and gracious, gave some great tips, and was such a positive spirit! We have friends who have already booked an upcoming stay and we continue to recommend it highly. Two heads up - parking near the hotel lobby fills up fast and there is an overflow lot behind the hotel. It's an easy walk. Also, plan ahead, as there are not many eating options nearby after around 8pm. And, finally, there is an on-site laundry room. The washers and dryers are large front-loaders (larger than a home model, but not the gigantic ones that you put bedding in). The laundry room was clean, well-lit, easily-accessible, and had a nice large folding table. The dryer dried our clothes, including heavy pants, well within the time the $2.50 allows, which was maybe 35 minutes, but I don't exactly recall.
