Our second floor room was a studio which had a king bed, sofa bed and kitchenette (small fridge, microwave, sink), large bathroom, and a balcony with a table where we could eat dinner and watch the sunset. We were able to reserve one of the hot tubs for a 45 minute private session which was handled extremely well. Staff were very helpful. Minor complaint: there are not enough accessible plugs in the room. We even have a charger strip we take when we travel and we had to move furniture to be able to access a plug. Some USB ports near the bed would be very useful. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed her for two nights in a two bedroom casita. While the room is large it is quite dated. The carpet feels in need of immediate replacement and the couches and chairs were quite tired and uncomfortable. There was no view from the room except for cell towers. The amenities were non-existent and to put insult to injury they charged a resort fee on top of the absorbent room rate. The gym hours were severely limited and allowed for too many people. (We stayed at another resort which had much better covid procedures in Scottsdale). Also adding to the joke of this "resort" was the early morning call to remind us to visit the concierge for our "gift". The gift was an offer to go to a sleazy timeshare presentation and a list of shops offering a discount (nothing worth visiting).

Rooms were insanely expensive so I decided to use Hyatt points where studio was the only room type option. Turns out, it’s the adjoining 2nd bedroom of the 2 BR units. Very small, claustrophobic, dark & dingy that’s in desperate need of remodel. We made do until people checked in next door to the adjoining room and it felt like they were literally staying in the room with us. We could hear every sound and conversation all night. It was horrible. And the 10am check out time was ridiculous especially since we were still on PST, making it 9am. Save your points and stay elsewhere.

Sedona did not disappoint. We just had a quick overnight in a small studio apartment. They tried to get us to do a timeshare overview the next morning, but I did not want to have the opportunity to have to be in that position. I'm sure it would be a great place to have a timeshare, but timeshare presentations are not for me. Free stuff comes at a big mental cost of irritation. NOPE. The hotel was great. Our room was smallish, but it was just the studio and for 2. The pool area was in a gorgeous setting. We needed to reserve a jacuzzi spot and we didn't so we left as it was late November. The pool attendant was really kind. We just were only staying one night so we couldn't take advantage of something that needed a reservation. I think we'll stay there in the future sometime. Sedona did not disappoint.
