I would not stay here again, and these 5-star reviews surprised me. As a seasoned traveler, I must be upfront about my experience. This is a good option if you're looking for a small property outside the main downtown area. The garden room was tiny and awkward. They are dated. You will hang your clothing up in the bathroom, and the fridge is in the bathroom. The worst part is hearing the guests above you stomping around all day and night. The walls are paper-thin. When the neighbor uses the shower, it sounds like it's in your room. On a positive note, the restaurant is excellent, and the people who work here are friendly.

My husband and I spent four days here and really enjoyed it. The place is nicely decorated and has a relaxing, warm, and inviting ambiance. Although it was too chilly to really enjoy our deck and the gardens, there were other sitting areas inside. We stayed in the Sunset room which was smallish, especially since the wooden step had to be moved and used to get in and out of bed. This meant the desk was unusable and the two chairs were cramped. Otherwise, the room had space and we enjoyed the fireplace and the jacuzzi. We plan to come back, but we might try a different room. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. Loved being able to get good coffee any time and also their little kitchen with teas and cookies at night. It was truly a welcoming and romantic place.

To anyone who travels regularly will recognize that the rooms at Casa Sedona are a bit small and yes, they do have a bed and breakfast feel to them, not a negative in this case. A lack of space to unpack your bags much less a sizeable place to put your cloths was a bit of an inconvenience. The middle stop of a two state three city trip we carried a bit more baggage than was convenient for the second story walk up room. All that being said we were thrilled with the Casa Sedona Inn. We read the customer reviews here and the candid description of the inn and it’s 17 distinctively decorated rooms and were still pleasantly surprised at the warm welcoming feel and quaint boutique serenity of Casa Sedona Inn. The southwestern adobe design of the inn melts into the surrounding magical canyon and the decidedly Native American theme gives the inn a peaceful reverence echoed by much of the town of Sedona. Three days in the Cherokee room gave us the opportunity to relax on the balcony overlooking the serene courtyard accented by bubbling fountains and aromatic junipers, rejuvenate in the inviting hot tub and stroll on the tastefully manicured grounds. The individually decorated room in the south western’s tribes signature appeal were way better than your generic plastic hotel rooms with cookie cutter furnishing and wholesale art prints. Each room is an individual work of art that feels welcoming in its own unique way. No smoking, pets, fire arms (shouldn’t need to be said but it was) or kids extenuates the relaxing feeling of the rarefied surroundings of the mountainous retreat situated in the Arizonian desert. The little extras the inn provides like fresh cookies plentiful coffee and iced tea are among the 24/7 amenities available, just off the sumptuous lobby, goes a long way to make you stay feel special. Close enough to all of Sedona’s main attractions yet far enough away from the buzz of the downtown retail zone, once encamped at the inn you feel a thousand miles from the undesirable lure of commercialism. Breakfast on the serenely appointed patio was a welcoming beginning to our day. Good food not more than a short walk away was surprising for an inn of this size. The entire staff was attentive, professional and friendly. See the inn’s web site: not a single word was exaggerated or blown out of proportion. The Casa Sedona Inn was the best accommodations we had on our trip; we wouldn’t hesitate a moment to stay again.

We walked into the restaurant at 1pm and were greeted by an unfriendly hostess. She clearly did not want to serve us. We were wearing hiking attire, but since this is at the bottom of many trail heads it didn’t seem inappropriate. I never write reviews but my friend and I were very offended .
