The setting is spectacular and the service is excellent. It was an ideal choice for a family trip that involved multiple couples with varied interests. The concierge team handled our activities and dining reservations. Unfortunately the spa is being renovated so treatments are being offered in hotel casitas which doesn't offer the full spa experience. I checked this out before reserving and chose not to reserve a treatment.
This resort is truly special. The location is magical- it is nestled at the base of majestic canyons, but not too far away from the conveniences of the main highway. Great option if you want to feel like you are part off nature, and looking for privacy/ remoteness. The Casitas are well designed, clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable in their areas of service. Nothing else like it in Sedona. Enchantment offers very nice accommodations, the most beautiful setting, a full range of services and amenities.
Stayed for two nights - before we closed on our home in Sedona. This is a world-class facility in a one-of a kind setting. Beautiful room - upgraded to a queen casita with a fireplace - lovely. Really good food - enjoyed the fireplace at the casual restaurant. Poor weather meant no pool or activities, but would recommend future guests to avail themselves of the hikes and mountain bike rides. The spa was closed for renovations, which we knew going in - no noise- as the spa is separate from the hotel rooms. Very romantic!
Ticking off the many superior attributes of Enchantment is challenging because I could easily miss a couple. But here's a quick list: 1. The unique location. No other resort essentially offers exclusive access to one of Sedona's premier canyons, Boynton Canyon. True, it's a short schlep into town, BUT consider point #2: The restaurants and bar and in room dining at Enchantment are extraordinary so the motivation to go into town isn't great. We came with the intention of dining in Sedona every other night of our 4 night stay. We just couldn't be bothered to do that because we couldn't imagine that our dining experience would compare to Enchantment. We have dined throughout Latin America, enjoying many of the finest restaurants from northern Mexico to the tip of Chile and Argentina. The chef at Enchantment conjures up a broad spectrum of creative entrees, starters and desserts that rival anything from Peru or Colombia or, well, anywhere. 3. The activities. Mountain biking, hiking, golfing, Enchantment offers the finest is all these and more. We didn't do the activities but there are many, and the spa was undergoing a renovation but they obviously pay lots of attention to providing top quality activities. 4. The service. Great from top to bottom. 5. The rooms. Very charming. Well maintained. 6. The main lodge facilities: The restaurants and bar and deck are beautifully designed and decorated. The finishes chosen for the restaurants from the light fixtures to the furniture to the wall coverings to the art, all fabulous. OK, I'm ready to wrap up this review and I'm pretty sure I left out something, but perhaps the biggest indication of how we feel about Enchantment is this: we can't wait to go back.…
Wow! We are coming back to enchantment resort - we decided within 5 minutes of arrival - lol! We spent two nights in Casita 2 queen beds. If you want luxury, privacy, while safety during covid with breathtaking views - your dreams have come true! Romano greeted us and he really is a star - well done to management for allocating him to meet tired cranky guests from hours of driving - my toddler daughter was really ‘enchanted’ lol by him like a magician. Connor gave us the tour of the resort & took us to the room , really warm, professional & covered everything we needed to know - nothing missed. Alex at Che Ah Chi was our waited he was wonderful, he knew his menu well. Room was lovely clean & all precautions for covid was there. All staff wore masks and everything was clean we felt safe. We ate at both of the restaurants at night & staff were lovely , safety was key & food fab. U get these small Rosemary potatoe bread things omg I still dream about these! We also visited the fabulous The trail House - I bought a shirt I needed for a hike , the ladies knew their products and advised me well. My husband received great advise about trails next door was really impressive! It was lovely to walk around the property has some construction but fine.
