We are Canadians travelling in New Zealand (3 months) and was looking for a bed and breakfast on a farm setting and came across this wonderful comfortable and stylish "homestead" in Tikokino, Central Hawkes' Bay. We needed accommodation in Hawkes Bay for a wedding in Waipawa in February 2013. 2 of the girls stayed the Friday night and the rest of us came up on Saturday, The house is amazing, the rooms and bathroom are great - all custom built to suit the bed & breakfast accommodation. We arrived at the Bed and Breakfast and were met by very friendly Hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had homemade bread and muffins, and would thoroughly recommend the accomodation to anyone wanting to stay in the lower Hawkes bay area.

We needed a location for the crew to rest and recuperate during our busy filming schedule. Tranquil is more nature then name as the quiet area promoted sound rest, slow of pace and allowed the crew to let the hectic day go. Our host respected the need for rest and allowed us the use the their meeting room to pack...
