Wonderful room on stilts, looking out over the rugged coastline, very neat and clean, lots of room, with a balcony to watch the sun set. Loved hearing the monkeys and birds in the morning. The restaurant had terrific food. The staff catered to your every need and answered every question. The excursions we took---hiking in Corcovado, snorkeling at Cano Island---were...

Stayed here for 4 nights from the minute we arrived to the minute we left we were looked after by the wonderful staff. You arrive by boat right onto the sandy beach and are welcomed with a drink. This place is an oasis surrounded by sea and jungle. The rooms are lovely with a balcony to sit and chill on....

My husband and I just returned from a relaxing five-night stay at Copa De Arbol. This was our second trip there in two years and we enjoyed this one even more than the first. Drake Bay is a remote natural area, yet the owners of the Copa have designed a beautiful, comfortable resort that dwells in concert with the wildlife...

Fabulous place. Everything was brilliant. The locale is beautiful and the cabin was spacious and comfortable. The food is too good, I ate too much!! Rainer in the restaurant was a pleasure to meet, very calm and professional. Was fortunate enough to have my birthday there and we ate in the 'top' room, an unforgettable experience. All the staff were friendly....

Our family of 8 (3 kids: 6, 9 & 12) had a fantastic stay here at the copa! The staff is amazing, rooms are beautiful, and every amenity you could want is at your fingertips. The excursions are plentiful and well planned and we had a great time boating, hiking, swimming, snorkling and more. Stay at the copa on your...

Wow. What can I say. We went to Copa De Arbol for our honeymoon and it was the most incredible experience. It is possibly the best hotel I've stayed in. We checked in to Copa for our Honeymoon and were treated excellently from the moment we arrived. We particularly enjoyed paddle boarding during sunrise with Matula and the night hike...

The highlight of our trip to Costa Rica has to be the Copa De Arbol Beach and Rainforest Lodge, for us it was the perfect idyllic location where we were constantly exposed to the wonders of the flora and fauna of the Pacific Rainforest even from the balcony of our lodge, there was a host of things to see purely...

Wow this place is truly amazing. We flew in to the Drake airstrip and were met with a driver that took up to the town of Drake where we were picked up by boat and taken to paradise. All of the staff was friendly and helpful and the meals were great. They accommodated my gluten allergy and we had some...

This was our favorite stop while in Costa Rica for 15 days. We arrived by boat from the Seirpe River. That's the way to do it! The service people are helpful and friendly, and they do it all with a big smile! Our Casita was spotless! They deck these places out! We were greeted upon our arrival with a cold...

When you think that a night on Necker Island can cost $5000 a night, Copa de Arbol seems like a bargain. We spent 5 nights here in April 2016. We had blue sky all day every day of our stay - no rain whatsoever (take that, Necker!). This meant it was a steamy, humid time in the jungle, though still...

Thank you for what is probably one the most comprehensive reviews we’ve ever had. We appreciate you taking the time to give potential future guests the inside scoop on your personal experience. We’ve noted your comments about the sun shade/umbrellas by the pool. We’ll try to get that taken care of as soon as possible. We’re so pleased that you...
