I moved to Casa Lola because the owners were not very friendly and were hard to locate here. The service was subpar. The rooms were okay nothing special and there is no view from the rooms. The pictures you see are from the front of the hotel.

I stayed at Gran Sueño for 10 days. It's a quaint, family-run hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but clean. They are mostly painted bright orange with funky textures and designs. There is hot water via electric shower heads. I stayed in two different rooms during my stay. One had better hot water than...

We spent one night here when our other lodging fell through. We got the last available room, on the ground floor, so there was no view. The room was clean, and the shower just warm enough to not be cold. The hotel itself was quiet but of course they have no control over the dogs outside that started going bonkers...

We landed here and were fine and dandy for a night. It's clean, there is wi-fi and the beds are ok. At this level you seldom get real pillows, and it's sometimes comical to see what passes for a pillow! My problem was the bathroom, which was very narrow with a high step to enter... uncomfortable enough to swap hotels....

Location on the main street is very convenient. Rooms w/ private bathroom are very basic, but good value for what they charge. the only issue is that the showers are electric and the cables are all over the place, seems a bit dangerous. Wi-fi doesn't work in the rooms, but that seems to be the standard in Central America. The...

I don't know why the lonely planet book recommend that hotel. We went there trusting the guide but we had a small, dark room not so clean. Upstair rooms may worth it but definitly not those on the ground floor.

The room was private and on the ground floor, so without the view, of the ones upstairs of the lake, but without the stairs to climb was good for me. They were negotiable and gave me a very good price, but don't forget to negotiate the price. Modern room with good fixtures and bathroom. Comfortable bed. The only issue I...

Friendly family run hotel. Lent knives and plates when preparing lunch for hikes. Rooms medium sized could do with a shelf to free up floor space. Great location with free water. Spent three nights atitlan is amazing

The owner is so nice and full of happiness. He's very calm and clearly wants you to get the best part of San Pedro. The place is not so big but you get your own room with shower for less than most hostel dorms. I hired a private guide to hike the San Pedro volcano and the Indian Nose and...
