First the good: the location and views from the hostel are fantastic. The restaurant was good, staff were helpful, free water provided and good shower.
The not so good: noisy construction, very average kitchen, terrible wifi.
So all up certainly not a bad option.

It's ok. They have multiple routers and depending on which one you are on and how many other people are on it can make the quality good or bad. There was an issue too of one of them consistently needing to be restarted as well.
I will say though, while traveling for a few months in South and Central America, it had one of the better Wifi's we dealt with.
I do not know about cell service.
