This hotel is about a 10 minute drive to the Canyon, which isn't a problem if you have a car. We were looking for affordable, close to the Grand Canyon and found it here. McDonald's is across the road. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

We stayed here during spring break. It is one of the closest hotels to the South rim entrance of the Grand Canyon. The hotel was clean and serviceable. Fairly dated, but again, clean. That's important. I got a fairly good rate online. Bring everything you might need (beverages, snacks, OTC meds) - everything - with you. Do not buy these...

I realize they can charge $170/night for a $60 room due to location for for GOD'S SAKE would it kill them to have an adequate Wi-Fi system? I watched as at least a dozen people complained at the front desk and their answer was always the same..."Everybody is trying to access it at the same time". DUH. NO KIDDING! If...

Nice clean place. Rooms were spacious. We had a room with two queen beds. The room had a TV, small fridge, no microwave, but there is one available any the lobby for customers to use. This place is only six miles from the Grand Canyon. Overall a great stay. (On a side note for those of you who are going...

Three stars at best. Convenient to entrance of the Grand Canyon. Recommend you book a hotel inside Grand Canyon 8-12 months in advance (El Tovar). Positives of Red Feather: coffee, convenience, clean bedding/room, warm hot tub, friendly staff, nice parking lot. Negatives: hotel is dated, cold tiny pool, tasteless apples for breakfast, no tea or hot chocolate, small room, dirty...

Red Feather Lodge has been a very good choice for us. Large, clean, nice room with everything you need (place to seat, write, plugs). It is really close to Grand Canyon activities (no need to stay inside the Park, indeed). Staying in Tusayan is very nice, since you can walk to good restaurants, find general stores and more. Two small...

The Red Feather Lodge has two options, the old motel that's in rough shape on the outside but has been updated on the inside and the Lodge. We looked at the original motel and decided to pay the extra and stay in the more modern hotel. The room we stayed in was clean, modern and pretty nice. The bathtub needed...

If you are visiting the Grand Canyon, and need a place to fall asleep, this is the place. Decent value for money, and a place to be in at night. We were a family of four at Grand Canyon, and this met our needs. They give you a 10% discount for a Mexican restaurant, it's a horrible place. Mexican is...

If are visiting the Grand Canyon and traveling on a budget, this is a good option. Convenient and clean. But whatever u do, don't eat in the restaurant next door,Plaza Bonita, I think it's part of the hotel. Worse Mexican food ever

The original Red Feather Lodge can be seen in photos, but not much of that is still around. It's a comfortable typical highway hotel. The staff were great to recommend options for dining in town. There were free postcards which I really appreciated!
