Two colleagues and I stayed at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel with a larger group which also took the day trip to the Grand Canyon on the Grand Canyon Railroad. The hotel is currently being renovated, but we were placed in already renovated rooms. The rooms are spacious, and extremely clean. The bathrooms are large and offer a lot of...

Great hotel, convenient to the railway and downtown Williams (several nice local restaurants a short walk from the hotel.) Hotel was under renovation but I never heard any construction noise. The room I had was a "standard" room but seemed brand new. Was very nice, modern, and clean. Waking up and walking out the door of the hotel and into...

Hotel was reasonably priced. We stayed in a recently renovated room, which was clean. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Hotel restaurant was convenient for good value buffet breakfast. Did not enjoy having to walk through construction areas on the main level to get to our room, but it makes sense that they are completing renovations in the off-season. The...

We are staying here for three nights. Everything the positive reports say is true. The lodge lobby with high ceilings and fire place. I am attaching room pictures . They are remodeling everything form bathrooms to carpets to the pool. We are taking the train to the canyon tomorrow. We walked downtown and had a great breakfast for supper at...

We booked the room for two nights to avoid a long ride back to Scottsdale after a day visit to the Grand Canyon. We're glad we did. The lobby and rooms are nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. It couldn't be any more convenient to the railroad to the national park: you just have to cross a private road. It's also...

We were here for an overnight stop on a cross-country drive. It is a large hotel with plenty of parking. There is a nice lobby with a gas fireplace. The standard rooms are generous compared to most travellers hotels. The bathroom is spacious. A significant negative is that they use the bulk liquid soaps, shampoo and conditioner. The desk staff at...

We planned this as a special birthday trip for my wife and it did not disappoint! We did a 3-night package deal. 1 night at the Railway Hotel, 1-night at the Maswick Lodge at the Canyon and 1-night back at the Railway Hotel. We had dinner and breakfast coupons for the days in Williams, you are on your own at...

We stayed in this large hotel here for two nights during a coach tour, ostensibly to visit the Grand Canyon (like most other guests). Our clean ground floor, twin bedded room was fairly standard for a 3 star hotel in the USA; there was an old style clock radio, flat screen TV, free wifi, aircon, fridge but no microwave. The...

We booked a package that included two nights at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, 2 dinners and two breakfasts at the Depot restaurant, the train ride to and from the Grand Canyon Southern Rim, lunch there plus a coach tour and I have to say it was a great value. The hotel is MUCH nicer than I was expecting and...

We stayed in December for the Polar Express train ride. Our deluxe room overlooked the train depot & Christmas lights. The room was cozy and clean with a nicely updated and modern bathroom. I would definitely pay more for a deluxe room again. We really enjoyed everything about our stay except for the buffet restaurant on property. Save yourself from...
