Stayed here one night on the way to Grand Canyon. Attractive but basic hotel, nice location in downtown Williams. Room was lean. Sat at the bar for dinner and got snapped at by the bartender. She was trying to fix the CO2 system, right in front of us, and ignored us for about five minutes until she saw me trying...

Thank you for your comments on your stay at the GC Railway Hotel. The rooms were built in three phases, so we have three different room types, 10 suites, and the Rail Baron Suite. We will close the value rooms this winter and upgrade them to our new Deluxe rooms. I am sorry you encountered a poor response from one...

My mother, sister and I planned a trip to Arizona and wanted to go to the Grand Canyon. We were able to schedule an overnight package at the hotel along with dinner, the train to the Grand Canyon and breakfast. The meals were buffet right in the building next to the hotel. If you were registered with a package, you...

We stayed three nights as part of a combination of group activity and personal vacation. Very pleased with the hotel room and services. "Standard" Room very comfortable, larger than average "mini" fridg; etc. We bought the buffet breakfast but not dinners - great choice for mornings. Lots of local restaurants for your evening or lunch choices. Two things to mention:...

The 3 of us stayed here tues-thurs. We had a package deal of 2 nights in the hotel, 3 train tickets, 3 tickets for bus tour at canyon, and 4 meals each at the buffet restaurant. The hotel was very nice and was clean. The hotel had a nice pool and a hot tub perfect to relax in. Beds were...

We stayed here bc of the package deal and so glad we did! We loved everything about it! I felt we were at a very high class hotel for a very reasonable price! Seeing one of the reviews about someone being "Disappointed" I am shocked! I just don't understand how or why!! From the moment we walked in until the...

This hotel is all show and no go. Rooms are tired and dim. We stayed here as part of a package deal with the railroad. It's certainly convenient in that respect but little else. Free Wi-Fi is a six step process. TV is crap with few channel choices. The hotel tries to be Opryland, but it's a cheap imitation. The...

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at our Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. We have invested heavily in the quality of the rooms and food since purchasing the property and Railway in 2007. This investment will continue with the renovation of over 100 value rooms this winter. I am sorry to hear about the breakfast, we normally...

The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel was a nice hotel and a great place to stay if your taking the train to the Grand Canyon. The rooms were large and clean and you had free wifi. Package will include Breakfast and Dinner. Located in the town of Williams and great to walk around historic route 66.

The hotel was nice and conveniently located to the Depot for train departures. It was very pricey for the room so I would recommend finding a more reasonable hotel and driving to the train. My three stars comes from the fact that a fire alarm went off after most people were in bed and the staff was not helpful. Everyone...

We stayed here en route to the Grand Canyon, and despite arriving at 1 o'clock in the morning as the train was 3 hours late, we received a very warm, efficient welcome. The hotel is very big and it was a long walk to our room, but it was worth the trek, large and comfortable. The downside to the hotel...
