What tricked us into booking this motel - it has pretty good reviews and overall rating. Well, we’ve learned that this isn’t always a guarantee. The fresh towels supposed to be white, correct? Well, we found that in this motel, they have somewhat rather grayish-yellow color. The

What a sweet, quaint place to stay at where you are treated with kindness and the utmost respect. The rooms are very clean, welcoming, warm and come with all of the amenities. It was close to dining and the nice shops that are all there off of Route 66. We would definitely

We enjoyed the simple older style of this quiet motel. We were greeted upon a return getting away from smoke in Flagstaff by a friendly handshake from David, the owner. Grocery store in rear. Hour from Grand Canyon which he suggested as a quick late afternoon trip. Fantastic

The room wasn’t clean, I had a feeling that the housekeeping made there a really quick visit. In order to change temperature at the a.c you have to climb, it located very high. The coffee maker is great for early birds, and you’ll leave the keys in a box if you leave early at

We had no problem with noise at the Highlander, there is a train which runs during the night but not very often, and out of the four of us only one of us heard it. We certainly didn't have a problem with people unloading and loading cars, in fact we thought it a quiet area.

The motel is they old fashioned type that has been done up. The beds take up much of the room. Ok for 2, if you like a squeeze sure it would be ok. I would look for a larger room so your dog could move about rather than stay in one place. If it was only for one night you could make do ,if it was for longer a larger room would be better., in case your dog get wet.
