This is a lovely hotel away from the hustle, bustle and fumes of Kathmandu but close enough that it's not hard (and not expensive) to get in and out of the city - esp, as there are a number of taxis right outside the hotel. There is a buffet breakfast and the staff are more than happy to help with...

What a great place to relax from the busy life and traffic of the city. Summit hotel is on a hill in Patan, so you actually may see the mountain tops in a right season. Rooms are clean and large, swimming pool is amazing, food is good. Most importantly, the compound is large enough to really feel away from it...

Really nice place, bit old and rustic, but fits the bill if you want to escape the hustle, bustle, crowds, noise and dust of Kathmandu, but want to stay within the city. Situated on a charming by-lane within the city with snaking paths, great for jogs, mindful of dog poppy. Rooms are good value for money, breakfast satisfactory and the...

The outstanding feature of this hotel is its amazing buildings and gardens. Beautiful flowers everywhere, and stylish features in the rooms. It was quite expensive, though it is a really luxury experience. Food was very good. Sitting in the gardens enjoying a view over the valley - bliss!! Email communication for the booking was a bit difficult, and we had...

Some years ago this hotel was taken over from the Dutch founder by Nepali businessmen. Since then they did NOTHING, exept more than double the price. Rooms are in major need of renovation and leaking toilet in the lobby toilet is not acceptable. For this money you can have way better hotels in KTM. But, the location is fantastic, the...

Dear Guest, Thank you! for your kind feedback. I stayed with a group of about 20 and would definitely come again and recommend it to others. It's great that they have a range of different room qualities and the grounds are beautiful and peaceful. It was a bit complicated to book group meals and food and drink at the bar was rather expensive but service was good and...

My favourite place in Kathmandu. Great service, friendly atmosphere, comfortable rooms and a spot of calm in the craziness of Kathmandu. A small but functional gym and swimming pool on site, also a salon.

Location and the vastness of the property are the main reasons to stay there. It is quiet and air is clean(er), and it is a 400 rupies taxi ride to Tamel. Beautiful garden, small but functional fitness center, swimming pool (not long enough for proper exercise swimming), extensive breakfast, wifi, coffee/tea anytime. Rooms are clean. Dinner we found to be...

Beautiful hotel in Lalitpur with Himalayan views (when the dust settles). I've stayed here a couple of times now after work visits to Nepal and it's always a pleasure to relax in the lovely gardens. The staff are fantastic too. It was my birthday this trip. I tend to keep quiet about things like that but the reception staff logged...

A large garden hotel with an excellent pool and restaurant. Stayed for 5 days, and had a wonderful time - it is a calm oasis amongst the bustle of the city. Very helpful and welcoming staff, spotlessly clean and tidy, great food and facilities.
