This place feels like it got forgotten about for years. It's got good potential, but needs some revival, some tlc and probably some $$ put into it.
The food was great, beer a bit flat and the pillows were awful.

I'm not sure where Samara is but from Playa Grande it took about 4 hours. The road from the hotel to the main road is in good shape but curvy. Then on the highway there's lots of construction to Liberia and from Liberia to the coast very easy flat road.
