The title says it all. The facility is lovely, although be careful if you have issues with steep stairs. The owner and staff however are not in any way customer oriented. If you have any issue at all, you will be out of luck. ...... San Marcos is a wonderful place to visit but consider another of the hotels there...

This was a beautiful facility with Lush gardens, beautiful decor, clean rooms, warm showers and friendly staff. We paid a little more for our stay here, but it was worth it in the end. If you are on a backpacking budget they do have cheaper rooms but you have to try your luck with them as they aren't able to...

Thank you for your comments and we are so glad you were able to appreciate our little paradise. Our staff works hard to please whenever and however possible. We are sorry about the internet problem. But any guests that ask about the internet (prior to booking of course) are told that the internet is not 100% dependable. We have an...

Arriving around 10 AM without a reservation, I was very lucky to receive one of the 100 Q private rooms (only ~25 Q more than my previous awful "party hostel"). Lush was perfect. The staff were incredible, recommending great places to eat and visit during my stay. The room was spacious, and right next to the shared bathroom. The small...

Lovely place with a beautiful garden and fantastic breakfast. We stayed in one of the budget rooms - you have to just turn up and see if they're available - paying $15 per night for one with a shared bathroom. This seemed a great deal to be in such a lovely environment and I'd highly recommend to others passing through...

We just returned from 8 days at the fabulous Lush Atitlan, and were so relaxed and well-treated at this beautiful place. We were lucky enough to get the Mirador suite, with amazing views over the lake, but really, I think that any room would be fine. We did very much enjoy our shower and large soaking tub on the terrace,...

We booked a room here for a week after travelling through Belize and staying in a few grim places (budget). We had a room with a kitchen below and it was an absolute dream. Spacious. Clean. Beautiful views and within our budget. The whole area of San Marcos is quite hippy though and we found it a bit annoying at...

We stayed at Lush Atitlan over Christmas. It is a relatively quick walk from the boat docks in San Marcos. The property itself is a tropical paradise. Surrounded by 'lush' gardens, each room is unique and tucked away from the others. While you may at times see glimpses or hear conversations, it is really an oasis. A great place to...

Checked in and paid 550Q cash for 3 nights, the Guatemalan manager refused to give me a receipt so I wrote it on the check-in paperwork in front of him that 550Q had been paid. This was for a room without bathroom that is a steal at 150Q a night. A large room, very good sheets and pillows and a...

Lush in itself was an experience we'll remember forever. I have been to San Marcos several times over the past 15 years and it was my boyfriend's first time in the area- while sitting on our private terrace at Lush overlooking the lake surrounded by volcanoes and watching sunrise and set everyday in this very special place, we decided that...

I join many others , that San Marcos has the special soul of this beautiful lake, with the vivid Volcanoes with overing clouds. And Lush has the spirit of beautiful gardens and views, and tasteful breakfast, with care to so many details. A wonderful staff of Nahmias and others, and Lilly to make sure all is perfect shape.
