We chose the hostel because of the price and location. You could not get anything better than this. Staff explained what to se and where to go - good service. Breakfast is good as well. Very short walk to the city center with all the old houses and the Ribe dome.

My wife and I had a long weekend on Danhostel Ribe ultimo september 2013. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean with an excellent location near the attractions off the old town Ribe and with looks to the marsklands. Perfect for exploring Ribe and the marsklands to the south, all the way to Tønder. The nature here is fantastic with...

We are happy that you enjoyed your stay in our hostel and on your bird-watching-tour in the Wadden Sea National Park. For your information, we can tell you that we also have different room sizes and different standards - and therefore also slightly different prices in our hostel. You can all the different prices on our own homepage

My father and Brother came in at 10 o' clock in the morning. The lady at the counter switched our rooms so that we could have one immediatly instead of the booked 4 o' clock. Great! When we asked to play tabletennis at, they gave us free bats & balls. This family hostel is fun, calm & well organised.

We are not regular hostel goers but decided to give the Ribe Hostel a try as it appeared to offer good value accommodation within a stone's throw of the centre of historic Ribe. Our room was 495 Danish Kroner for one night. It was clean, comfortable, well equpped and very good value. Our room had a wonderful view over towards...

This is a lovely review from guests who are not used of visiting hostels - thank you very much. We are happy you had a good stay in the hostel and the town despite the winter cold and storms. We agree that the ladder in the rooms on the hostel's top floor is not suitable for small children, and we...

I stayed here for a night in October while I was in town to see the Starling Magic tour. This hostel is very well located to the main part of downtown where all the fun restaurants and shops are. The hostel was about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel staff were very communicative and answered all...

This is a good family type hostel. The staff are very kind and endlessly helpful. The breakfast is very good with award winning bread from nearby Pompei bakery. Excellent location in a beautiful town. The kitchen and rooms are clean. Excellent gym with an amazing climbing wall. Rental bikes that are in good working order and comfortable. Rooms remind me...

Very nice hostel located few minutes away from everything you could be interested in (it is a small town), it offers nice variety of rooms. Stayed in a four bed dorm, with shower and toilet ensuite, great view of the nearby fields, great reception help and willingness to assist, nothing bad I can think of during my stay there. Of...

We stayed a night here and enjoyed the nearness of the hostel to the city center. It was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning included a variety of breads, meats, and cheeses (also fruits & cereals, coffee & teas). There was also a kitchen for storing foods or cooking your own meals. It also was attached to a...

My wife, four-year-old and I needed a place to stay for a couple of days after visiting Billund (Legoland). Ribe is a very interesting and important cultural centre for west Denmark, so it seemed a logical place to stay. We were late in looking for acommodations, and Danhostel Ribe was the only place available, but we had a very good...

When you hear the words 'youth hostel' it conjurs up images of beer fuelled teenagers running amok... think again! We're in our late 30s and found everything we needed. This a lovely place to stay - tranquil and near to the centre of Ribe - Scandinavia's oldest town. Helpful staff, super clean facilities and nice private rooms with ensuite facilities...
