What can one say about a piece of heaven out in the middle of France that's so peaceful, so cozy, so beautiful and an owner/chef so kind hearted that she treats you like a long lost friend? The Auberge de Concasty and Madame Causse are a one of a kind experience. The staff is a reflection of the owner as...

It was better than I expected and I had high hopes for this hotel. It is located in the Cantal region, in a secluded location with beautiful views over the surrounding hills. The Deluxe Double Room we had in an annexe was tasty decorated, good materials used for everything, very good bed and bathroom. All services were impeccable and we...

It takes a little time to unwind and relax coming straight from busy life at home and an 800 mile drive. We were not in tune with the pace of this place when we arrived and I would like to apologise to the host for being overly expecting of what she could do about a problem not of her making....

The Auberge de Concasty is a beautiful hotel based around the farmhouse and outbuildings of the original family residence of the owner-chef, Martine Causse. There is a fine pool commanding views of the surrounding hills, a large garden to enjoy and during the summer breakfast and dinner are taken on a side terrace of the main house. Concasty is located...

Stayed here for one night in April 2015; chosen on the basis of the various reviews - should have made time to stay longer. Lovely peaceful location, and Martine and her staff made us very welcome. We had a big room in the main house (there are more in a converted outbuilding that we didn't get to look at) with...

From the moment we arrived (after a very long drive, in the dark, on unfamiliar roads), we felt pampered, comfortable, and welcomed. The food was extraordinary, and the owner, Martine, even accommodated my gluten-free needs. Our room was huge, beautifully appointed, and super-comfy, including the bed. The quiet of this countryside inn was exactly what we needed. The views around...

There is nothing wrong with this hotel and I'm sure many visitors will be delighted to stay here. However, we were expecting to stay in the main beautiful building but instead were put in an outbuilding that had dated decor and the only redeeming feature was the bed for my daughter. The service for pre-dinner drinks was non existent and...

With tea in the garden. Beautiful country setting. Very friendly owner and team. Evening meal just average. Room light and airy overlooking the garden. Breakfast excellent. Loved the French toast. The new conservatory will be lovely. Seemed on the expensive side.
