We enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable. The staff made us feel welcome. Location is great. Views were wonderful. Just a couple of issues. First, they had a tour bus hit while we were there. We could not get close to the breakfast but found a wonderful coffee shop in town where we could get a pastry and... More

We've just stayed here for a week. The hotel is in the perfect location in the centre of town. It's worth having a corner seaview room with balcony so you get an uninterrupted view of the harbour and town. The room was always spotlessly clean and the a/c worked excellently. Tavernas and shops are a few minutes' walk away. The... More

We had a room overlooking the harbour and the view was excellent, all the fish tavernas and bars of Gytheio we could basically see from our balcony. The staff were very good but the bathroom and shower are a bit dated and the hotel only has one 3 man lift.

We have booked many rooms for our friends for a social event. Although we have booked the rooms and arranged everything 5 months in advance, they have told us 10 days before the arrival that they cannot provide all the rooms we have booked and look at other hotels as well for 4 of the total 25 rooms! We were... More

Pantheon was a very good hotel, my cousins and I were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was excellent. We walked along the shore and the shops were willing to barter over prices. And the food was great! Seafood, and many tasty Greek dishes . Great village to visit as are most of the places in Greece! Thanks... More

We stayed at this hotel on the first night of our tour around the Mani. The location on the sea front and the view from the balcony of our room was splendid. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.

Arriving along the water in Gytheio (where the Pantheon City Hotel is located), I felt like I had just arrived on a typical Greek island. It had that very same feel - tons of shops, advertising, tavernas, and random businesses. Stepping into the hotel was a nice, modern oasis though. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room... More

I have visited this hotel on many occasions and I was there on the 14th November. Travelling around the Peloponnese, it was great to be able to turn up at a hotel where all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Thank you Illias for making it so friendly. I wish could have stayed for more than one night. Gytheio... More

Wonderful views of bay from the balcony; some lovely sunrises. Good-sized double room with ensuite, ample cupboards and fridge. Breakfast served from 7 till 10 am with plentiful cheese, meat, yogurt, bread and cake and hard-boiled or fried eggs. Parking is a bit of an issue; even in late October we sometimes had to park some distance away but unloading... More

We had a front room on the 2nd floor with a balcony (211) which was freshly decorated and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, lighting and air-con good, view wonderful. Wifi was very patchy. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped with a good shower. We did not have breakfast; there are many good nearby places to have breakfast.... More
