Cute little wooden cabins. We were upgraded to one with inside toilet and were very glad. So warm and cosy. Really clean. Shower block 2 mins away, also really clean. Basic kitchenette but kettle and tea / coffee etc provided. Free bbqs available for cooking. Very welcoming host with lovely, friendly dog. We loved our night here surrounded by trees...

We stayed here for 1 night and it was definitely the accommodation highlight of our trip. Having our own little cottage was really lovely and whilst small, the facilities were great. The cabin was extremely clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable, meaning we had the best night's sleep. Very much enjoyed being slightly out of town, meaning...

Cute cottages in the wild. They offer the minimum regarding the comfort of everyday life but it's a roof over your head. We were sharing our bathrooms with 5 other cottages and that's not enough, the water was cold after only a few minutes! At night, the little wooden cabins can get really cold and the small heating doesn't really...

We (family of 4 with 2 teenagers) did not stay in the cottages but did the 4 hour horseback tour up to the Hjálpleysa valley. The trip was amazing and beautiful (despite the Icelandic clouds). Johanna and her daughter were wonderful guides, very friendly and full of stories along the way. I would highly recommend riding with them, they love...

We stayed here on our Ring Road trip and had a cute, spotlessly clean cabin with shared bathroom. The bath and toilets were in a central location to all the cabins, and were spotless too. We took advantage of the barbeque and cook stove to make dinner and breakfast, saving a bit of money on the high prepared food prices...

This is a good choice if you have a family or traveling with friends. We had a great cottage and right where we wanted to be on the ring road. The cottage keeper was very attentive to making sure everything is as we wanted it. Three bedrooms and a single bath.

This was a really nice place to stay. The view was spectacular, and the cottages were neat and clean, with a functioning wifi. However, the reason I give it a 3 star rating because I had to take two freezing showers (I insist on the word freezing; not just cold!), which was quite unpleasant to say the least. Besides that,...

I stayed here for one night in August. The economy cottage was small but sufficient with a very small kitchenette (2 plate hotplate and kettle). No hot water in the sink of the kitchenette. One bathroom had run out of gas to heat the water (being the end of the season) so used the other shower further away. Functional but...

Had a fantastic experience riding horses at this property. We did not stay at the property but the cottages were cute and clean with a beautiful view. The owner took our family of 4 with our 7 year son out on horses that she keeps at the property. The ride was through the forest to a lovely waterfall. She had...
